I plan on getting a quasar real soon. Does anyone know if twisted 26g or regular 24g microcoil in dual coil mode fits the posts?

Also, since im getting back into the dripping scene im looking for a new coil setup to try. On my kayfun and only rda i have, igo-w, i just use a regular twisted 28g microcoil. But now I wanna have a build that has killer VP and taste. Has anyone tried a dual dragon coil setup? Ive seen the tutorials on the nano dragon but havent seen it for regular ID microcoils. Im guessing if you put the cotton wick through the coil it defeats the purpose of the "dragon" wicking... right?

I have found that using 24 or 26g with a 5/6 wrap around a 1/8th drill bit yields some pretty awesome vapor and flavor. THe nano dragons are awesome as well though. I used to only build the nano coils in my rdas and they worked well but i found that the airflow of center post builds yields better flavor.

As for 24g fitting i would think so. It fits easily in my patriot.

Ive done dual twisted 28g dragon coils on a 1/16th bit. 6 wraps each. ooooh man VP is killer! juice killer also haha

SS Mesh and cotton make a great team, she absolutely catapults the flavor and vapor, but the best part is no dry hits. SS mesh core & cotton (best of both worlds!), two .4Ω nano-coils, bliss...
(Burnt my hand taking the last one.)

Man I need to get some brightly colored e-liquid, makes the pics look so much better.
-Then again I don't like coloring polluting my juice :p.

Sorry for the dark picture I was too lazy to turn on my light lol. Anyways I decided to try to do a regular coil for a change instead of micros. Did a dual 5 wrap with 28g around a 1/8 drill bit. Came out to .5 ohms. Its alright but doesn't perform nearly as good as my micros (mostly parallel builds). While test firing it I got a hot juice ball shot in my eye. Hurt like hell lol.

It's actually pretty good, as long as you've got the voltage to push it. It heats up very slow , which is nice for those creamy type juices.
I doubt I'll build one again based on the PITA factor.

that's a deal-breaker for me; I really need instant cloud

maybe if it were done with fewer wraps?

Hold up, lemme bump it up to 30w...

Yeah, @30(5.7v) it's quick to fire up. But DAYUM! 18mg may not have been the best choice for this build. This thing is a guzzler !
The normal, slow heat up is interesting, brings out different flavors at the start and finish of the drag/toot/pull/whathaveyou.

I need to try this in my mech, see what it's all about. have been wanting to for a while. You used a drill to coil it?

No build at the moment but I have a question that I thought would fit in this thread(albeit a stupid question lol). How would one define a coil that ”chucks the vapor”? Hopefully I don't get flamed for this bedside I keep seeing people with 1 ohm and above builds saying that and id like to know your guys' opinions.

when vapour is noticeably thicker, bellowing(sp)... eg more of a steam train rather then like how you see steam coming off a kettle maybe
