Twisted 28/.7 flat ribbon kanthal. 5 wraps came out to .4 ohms. Loving it because the combination of round and flat kanthal brings out more flavor and vapor.

Wow that is a sweet build! Any tips on using mesh with micro coils? Solid rolled wick or looser? Wrap on the mesh or wrap coil and insert mesh after?
If you are familiar with hot spots & Mesh just know that clearing hotspots on a microcoil, is a game of patience....
I'm not a fan of the Strata design, so i never bought one... Good luck.
For this application, i solid rolled the mesh, and had the coils set in place already.
I would consider this an ADVANCED build. So do it only if you feel comfortable with SS mesh.
This is more of a general statement and not directed at you specifically.
I need not stress the safety factor, when working with SS mesh wicks...
Shorts, hot-legs & anxiety are common to those that dont know how to work mesh.
before attempting mesh, Get familiar with Geni builds, and clearing hot spots, with such methods as pulse-firing, or whatever works for you.
Pulse firing creates a lot of heat, so make sure the deck you are working on can take the heat without melting any insulators.
- if you are new to mesh, you could potentially destroy a Kayfun Insulator(example).
- and if you lack common sense, the potential to vent a battery is there.

how did you get the mesh to fill out the entire inside of the coil?
ive tried micros + mesh a few times and every time the coil ends up too loose around the mesh.
i usually mount the coil, roll the mesh, then install the mesh. getting the mesh narrow enough to slide through the coil inevitably makes it too small (for me) and im always left with gaps between the coil and the mesh. i try to unroll the mesh slightly once inside the coil to increase the mesh's diameter, but its not easy and usually screws up my coil.
any advice?

are you rolling your mesh on the bias, BuzzKilla?
