Not my build but a friend. I highly recommend against attempting to vape this without the proper batteries!!!

0.07 dual parallel, 24ga wire.... he is scared to try it and so was I.

He said, in less than a second, it was bright enough to light up a dark room....

That is actually safe to cafe just no longer of a button press than 5 second. Your dealing with pulse ratings now.

Was this a Nichrome build?

0.07 Ohms at 3.7 Volts = 52.85 Amps at 195.57 Watts...

I'm not sure I want to try that, much less trust this little cheap Ohm reader:

.25Ω
24g+32g

for the ohms of this coil its mellow and gives nice clouds.... the 24+28g i had done previously was twice as hot as this but about the same ohms

Nice build man. I'm all over the twisted wires these days, and I've been wanting to try the clouper...I imagine it's like twisted wires on steroids!

I've also found the twisting makes for a smooth vape, even at lower ohms...been wondering if there is any truth to that, or if I'm just delusional (happens a lot).

OK, first try on this one (both the parallel 26ga and the Bb code) so here goes nothing.

I got a 26650 mod a while back and have been looking for an rda with a big enough deck to take advantage of the added power. This weekend we got a day off work and I went shopping.

Sadly a friend of mine had just got the only plume veil (clone, but damned impressive) so I settled on a Patriot. The guy at the store built the plume veil, pretty sad but that's for another time.

The patriot gives me just a touch more room so I can drop in parallel 26ga at 9/8 wraps on a 2.4mm mandrel, and still has some airflow room to work with. Drilling out the topcap to 3/32" was a pita (destroyed a drill bit lol) but is enough air to support the hotter coils. I had to open up the post holes to run the parallel 26ga, but I think its worth it.

The heat sink doesn't really work for the mass of the coils but the drip tip still is decent with the amount of heat. Yes this is possible on an 18650, but only in the pulse range so I wouldn't even bother at nearly .25ohms.

Have the right gear or you're putting a grenade in your hand.

Looks great! I'm lovin the parallels these days too, and they're working so well that I've still yet to twist wire.

Funny how the Patriot looks so tiny on your mod!
