Plume Veil clone running the dual Clapton Coil setup (28g kanthal over 24g kanthal). 7 wraps 2.4mm ID .56 Ohms.
Takes forever to heat up. Havent had much success with Clapton coils.

From what I have heard, the less wraps you do on a clapton coil the better. Since there is so much wire there it wakes longer to heat up. I have 3/4 wrap primarily. May bring it a little to low for you then though.

With the Plume Veil's stock airflow I don't mind going down to .3 or below. What you said makes sense though. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Try 30g over 28g, or even 32 over 28.
In my experience smaller gauge wire you use for a Clapton the better. One of these days Im going to make one with 34g over 30g i bet that would kick some a:vapor:ss

Looks great though. I've tried 28/24 clapton and it is slow to heat, and holds onto that heat for way to long for me

My Wolverine 19 ml Tank evolution has come to the end. I think.
It's not leaking anymore and vaping great at 0.3 Ω, at 45 Watts, much like my drippers.

The picture below shows it's entire evolution process:
1. Original deck.
2. New Air Holes.
3. New SS Center Positive Post. (Instead of Brass)
4. Redesigned dual hole Positive Post.
5. Air Jets added to prevent flooding..
6. Raised up dual hole Positive Post.

22 gauge kanthal, 4 wraps around a 3mm screw driver in a Tobh clone. Multimeter showed at .2ohms, so not positive on the exact reading, but my buddies fancy shmancy app confirmed the exact ohms, it's escaping me ATM. Was a bit rough for me as I'm sick so back to the .35 on the quasar(don't mind the evidence of a dry hit)

I found those quad builds to work a lot better if you wick each coil separate, unless they ate perfect but even then the center between the coils always gets goofy. Looks great tho, hope it works for ya.
I like the vape quality of the wicking method in the last pic, ill re-wick it like the way you said and see what happens. always open to suggestions
