Thanks...I don't know what the deal is with these people. I asked the question in the most polite manner I could think if. I genuinely wanted to know what the deal was with that.

I don't know anyone who uses a debit card online...I was told years ago not to, and I haven't since...so the answer makes a lot if sense, it's just not something that dawned on me.

I don't understand why everyone is so damn hostile here.
It's all how one perceives something or interprets it. Everybody perceives things differently. I use both credit cards and debit cards online. I also use transaction alerts so I get a email when my cards are used. But my thinking is if the site im using my card on gets hacked it really doesnt matter if its a credit or debit card , the hacker will have my info , so to me it really doesnt matter. But mostly I use my debit card. less money on that one :(. lol . People do seem to be on edge lately, not just here but everywhere , i wonder what gives. oh well have a great day.

It's the heat of Summer...does it to me every year...patience, temperance...goes right out the window...

A debit card with a minimum balance on hand is the only way to shop online. If it's jacked, then the losses are kept to a minimum or nill. I transfer Moneys from savings to the debit card (which are not tied together) for online transactions. Of course, you do not want any "overdraft" protection on it. If attempted to use when there is "no available funds" then the transaction is simply denied.

its the heat i tell ya!! I'm from minnesota and 98 during the day and only low 70's at night is getting really old. much like when its 20 below for stretches at a time, people start to get a little edgy, but 20 below stretches are more likely around here than 90's. we start to melt around here when it gets above 80 :2cool:

I actually only use shopsafe generated numbers...the idea if someone getting my info freaks me out. Especially my debit info. Shopsafe has already saved me once, about three months ago Someone tried to use a shopsafe number I generated but couldn't since I set limits on them that match what I'm purchasing.

i think thats one ting we need to keep in mind, the more juice effectively gets to the coil and vapes perfectly , then the fast the coil will gunk, we already know we are not vaping the same juice form person to person, everyone make different blends, people diy, people use china juice, people use juice form many places and it will perform differently form device to device and it will gunk up differently, flavorings also cause changes as to how fast a coil gunks up.

i have been using a raven for 4 days and noticed that feeling it needs to be cleaned, now personally thats amazing to me, 4 days , about 10ml a day, that impressive but you can tell when it starts to get to wear it needs to be cleaned ,and thats expected. phoenix' sin general work rather well and they will gunk up because its straight juice right to that coil and they work so when you feel its performce start to lack, give it a clean.

ok were is the vaping video you have been talking us up about...

I don't think you came across anything but was intended. There is always a "hot button" for everyone, and maybe you just hit it for one or two people. I think most took it as a serious question. Don't let the actions of a few sour your view of the people here. Not everyone here is hostile, as most are very helpful and caring. There are many good people here. :)

Is shopsafe a website??? Sounds like a good idea instead of using the debit card....

I have Bank of America...their credit cards have a shop safe feature for online purchases.

So I go onto their website...click on shopsafe and set up a limit and a expiration date. Then it generates a credit card number that isn't my real CC number.

It's pretty cool and allows me to order things without getting up and finding my credit card.

I tend to see people get inflamed in threads that are "fanboy" type threads, where someone starts a thread to state how much they like product A, then someone come in and crashes their party. Provari is one that really gets some going, talk about a "hot button."
The other, believe it or not is GotVapes threads. And I think I know why, but no concrete evidence. It seems to me that a product is teased, hyped, product details promised, expected release date reviled, hyped some more, no product details released, missed release time line, still not details released and hype seems to stop. As long as the hype continues, folks seem content even when dates are missed (out of GV control, no flaming) and people love the videos and details.
I don't have a dog in this fight, as I would like to try the Raven line, I don't need it now. I do not mind waiting if its something like this.
I think we can up everyones spirits if Bad will release that 3mL chain vaping video he said he was going to do a while back! Hint hint.

Wow, this thread got awkward and tense for a while there. Things really don't translate well over the net.

Of course staggering products would be a bad idea, I must not have had enough coffee that day or something. If I upset anyone, I'm sorry.

As for the paycheck thing, I work from home and my payments are sent online. It's my vaping allowance. Honestly, we really do use debit cards most of the time. Hubby's check is direct deposited. We've never had a credit card, either.

I don't get the waiting for a paycheck thing. Don't most sites require credit cards?

Just wondering...because I see that a lot and I never understood why people have to wait to use their credit card.

All seriousness here...no deuchebaggary.

Even if I had a Credit Card I would certainly not use it for vaping supplies. Doing so I would find myself a few thousand dollars in debt as well as probably divorced. Hence why I have to wait for my paycheck to buy vaping supplies.
