Well as many people as there are waiting for some of this stuff, they will be sold out in a couple of days. I was waiting on the vivi nova, but thought about ditching that idea and buying the Raven
Let me start out by making an excuse for what might have been an ignorant question. I am new to all this and only been vaping a week or so. After looking again at the earlier pages, I assume you buy some type or cartomizer and this tank just slides over that cartomizer. Not sure though. Like I said I am currently being overwhelmed by all these products. It is like a second job just trying to keep up with what I need to buy and when it is coming in. Had the idea of trying to buy stuff that I had read good reviews on and buying that, hoping that would save me money instead of buying alot of stuff and not being satisfied. I will say got vapes is quite complicated on trying to find items in stock you want to try. Good for them though as business is good. If this Raven tank is what I think it is, I do not think I am ready for the carto and tank thing. I think I would like the vivi nova better. Which I guess is still a carto and tank, but I could just replace the heads so much easier. I would even like trying to build my own atomizer with the wick and kanthal wire.
What are you vaping with now. I would say get an ego twist battery and some bottom coil Phoenix cartomizers when they are back in stock and that should keep you happy for a while. I've been vaping since last October and have tried many many things but the above setup is always very satisfying.
Well, you can recoil just about anything if you have the time an patience, but the Raven probably won't be the easiest to do for your first project. The SmokTech Hyper SRT is designed as a rebuildable and will be a lot easier to get some experience on... there is a learning curve, but it's not too hard. The ViVi Nova and the Stardust are also very easy to recoil and may be of interest - peruse the main Gotvapes Forum and the modders forums for more info too.
From what I have gathered yes the Raven is a cartomizer in a tank based on the pheniox technology VIVI nova is a tank with replacable coil heads, which is usually what burns out in tanks. Its a matter of finding out what you like and what you want. Jfoster1 it is not a matter of trying everything in the world cause lord knows there would be alot of bankrupt people if we tried everything that came out lol.
At this point jfoster, I don't think you could go wrong getting a vivi nova or for that matter even a pack of bottom coil phoenix's. The phx's are great to be able to have several filled with different juices so you can switch between them if you like doing that. For me that's nearly essential. And I just can't find anything bad about the vivi. I like the profile of the stardusts, but I like the flavor, TH etc better from the vivi. So I would choose one of those, whichever design you like best. With the stardust being replaceable now, either would be just as easy to clean. Even if later you decide to go with the raven, you'll always have whatever you choose now as a backup.
I agree with Deb....you can't go wrong with the vivi nova. There is a smaller version due in any day also. The Phoenix BC is really good...but I'm just too lazy to deal with the syringe loading...so prefer the vivi nova and the stardust. If you get vivi nova and rebuildable stardust....the heads are interchangeable.
I currently have 3 vivi novas going, and will be adding 3 more and some minis as soon as they arrive. I'll also be trying the Raven as soon as it shows up.

Definitely wanna try a mini nova! and the ravens iffn them ding dang birds ever get here! lol But seriously......don't mind waiting if they're solving issues with em BEFORE we get em!!
RAVENS. Have these been finished being modified/fixed in China and are they headed here yet?

Just wondering as I didn't see this covered (may have missed it) will these be available with 808 threading as the regular Phoenix clearos are?
