LOL, he'll probably do one soon. The reason he hasn't posted any pics or videos yet, is because he just has the prototype without all the fancy decorations. It's just a stainless steel one and doesn't look like the finished product, so he probably just doesn't want to confuse anyone. I'll ask him if he wants to post a video to show the vapor production or something just so you guys can get an idea of what it really is. It's his decision though, so if he decides not to do one until we get the finished product, don't jump all over me!!!!! :p I'm just the messenger!!

I think the real reason we haven't gotten our Prodigys yet is that the entire production of the Prodigy is being done by Steve, Joanne and a few friends! There is no factory!

Steve is running a one man machine shop on a 20 hour shift. Miss ECF puts in the same hours making USB's and adapters for both units. Hyjacked friends, family members and neighbors are doing the finishing and packing.

And Casey is at the bat managing the phone, the emails and bookkeeping.

Well, we were all glad to hear that our Prodigys were being made in the USA. Now we know its a family product too!

We proudly wait...

I've been vaping for about 2-weeks now using a Joye 510, feeling pretty confident that I'm staying off the analogs and sticking to vaping. Anyways, feeling the need to get an alternate device for the long haul without worrying about how long my batteries are going to last, etc. Looking at the Prodigy V1. It is sounding like they are starting to ship, so if I placed an order today, what is the current wait?

I'm not sure what I need, since I'm not sure what exactly the Prodigy is. If I already have 901 atomizers/batteries, etc. do I just get the "base kit"? Would I need more than 1 (ie is whatever I'm getting going to wear out?). Would I also need the battery and charger (and how many batteries -- do they wear out?).

And, as a bonus question, what is it about e-cigs that makes me feel like such an idiot? Seriously, I've been vaping for 6+ weeks and I still feel that I have no frigging clue what I am doing.

Thanks to all on this forum, as always. It really is a great site.

well since you allready have 901 atomizers you could just order the 901 kit with the batteries and charger and you should be pretty good to go.
I do have one reservation though alot of people of have been saying how the prefer the 801 with the higher voltage. So you might want to buy an 801 adapter and a atomizer or two and give it a shot.
Ive allways been a 801/pen style atomizer user and i have to say ive never been hapier the vapor produced is really nice especially on a new atomizer.
so take my adivce for what its worth and try out the 801 along with your 901 adapter and i dont think you will be disapointed.

Thanks. I think I will go w/ the 801 pen style. One question remains. Will my carts still work (are 801 and 901 carts interchangeable)?

I was thinking of getting a second Prodigy(this thing is great! Even better than I had imagined) and was also wondering what the current wait would be.

sorry guys ...

the numbers ...

Out of the First 1000, production, roughly 500 or so are sold, including the 100 going to Simon in the UK. The wait ... I couldn't imagine longer than about 7-10 days to be caught up :) I really do need to update this thread, which I will do now :)

Steve,

Question on the PS USBPass 510 - is that just for the Prodigy or can it be used on say a Dura C?

Thanks,
Kent C

Hey Kent,

The PS USBpass and the Prodigy are 2 very different things.

Think of just a standard PassThrough, but with a bulkier cord, manual switch, and adapters. Yes, the PS USBpass 510 will work with your Dura C atomizers.
