Ok, I'm very glad to see the thread got back to some meaningfull content. (I think I read that exact sentence a few pages back, you know, right after I disappeared for the night) BUT, this whole kissy face "good night Johnboy, goodnight momma" crap is getting to be a bit much. I mean come on people. I refuse to take part in the whole FB and Twitter, "just got up, just made coffee, oops put to much cream in my coffee, uh oh I gotta run" sillyness. I have no problem with a little bit of fun and games every now and then, but when I sit down to get caught up and there are 2 whole pages of hugs and kisses b4 bed, thats where I draw the line. (Rant over)
Now for some tech talk. I'm glad to see we have a resident IT guy. Most folks are not aware that the usb ports on their PCs put out different power levels. In most cases there are 1 or 2 ports that put out a higher level of power than the other ports. The high power ports (on desktops) are usually always on the back of the PC. I know this was already discussed, but that particular phrase was not said.

I am very new to ECF and this forum but I don't think that should be held against me. I feel I am the perfect candidate for Alpha since I seem to be never satisfied with most everything I buy and use. More toys. More toys.
What is the usual turnanround on acceptance. I PM'd keelalagirl55 a couple days ago and the anxiety is eating away at me. Either way I gotta know. Seeeeeeee. This same impatience is what keeps my desk looking like a vape store counter.
