Sweet. Just placed an order. The scorpions look interesting. RRSF, the wicks are at the bottom. I was wondering the same thing til I zoomed in on them.

Looks like a standard cartomizer inside of a different style tank. It does say top coil, but also says similar to the way a DCT works. I hope it doesn't have filler, and I hope its good!Cool! there is no filler
its a ce2 style top coil inside wick many wicks hanging to the bottm where the holes are int he carto.

I got 2 scorpions. I left the kit there for others, I don't have the hardware nor the know-how to properly test that, pretty as it is.
If the scorpions are less than satisfactory, at least I got 2 drip tips cheaper than any others on the site

by the way the price for the scorpion is cheaper then what we paid for them, we are taking alpha seriously. the kits we are basically making back the shipping and not making a cent.

The price on the kit is great, but I wouldn't be able to give it a fair test and that is what we're supposed to be doing here. I'm ordering 3 scorpions to try uses 2 batteries stacked so I assume it comes with 2 since that is what the standard kit includes.

Cartos look something like the smoktech clear cartos. basically a cartomizer with clear plastic tubing instead of metal

ok BAD with all these cool new tanks and stuff i think its time to break out some other ego thread covers - a simple straight one and one tapered the other way (from button to tank) to mesh with the bottom of a nova tank and other similar size devices

Just put 2 scorpions in my basket. Trying to decide on the 'Rocket'. I saw LordDavon's review a few days back... I know another vendor is selling these at twice the price, but no reviews on 'his' product.
as we mentioned previously, if its in alpha, no one on the planet can touch alpha prices.
although, hear tell, there is a planet two galaxies away that has insane exchange rates on the us dollar...but the shipping would eat that up - danno

Yeah, no kidding - this is a great program, though the economics of it are quite beyond me. 
on many ALPHA products we will basically take a loss, thats how strong our commitment is to this community. We cant do this for every alpha product as we need to add in the cost of the bags, label paper etc. but all in all they will be right around our cost and no one will be able to come close in price.
