I wonder if its possible that I'm not putting enough power to the PT? If it wasn't for the discrepencyies in the light actions I may lean towards this. I just ordered a a/c powered USB hub so I can put proper power to things like this. I am getting pretty well experienced with middle level PVs like this PT, and my gut tells me its def off.

When you listed the power settings of the adapter you used, I was thinking that it had to be the problem. Gotta have 2 amps. Some say 1.5 would, but 2 was always encouraged when I was asking about it.

Then I started thinking about it and I wonder if it isn't your dongle. I haven't put mine in a computer usb port yet because I really don't want to screw up my laptop. I just made the last payment this month after paying on it for a year. I do have a broken computer that won't properly boot up but it will power on so I can use the dongle in it. I broke one of the USB ports in it with my old dongle and decided not to use it. I'll give it a try and report back. It's a 5 year old computer and wasn't special to begin with as far as specs, so I'm pretty sure it has the standard USB power settings that many say aren't good enough.

Just wanted to say I am now officially in Alpha.
How can I tell????
Just ordered the Rocket in RED and a couple Scorpions to try out. Really wanted to try the pass through but they are gone for now.
Hopefully I will become an asset contributing to future improvements on new gear. Ohhhhhh, the pressure.

welcome aboard wallyO, this is just the start, i know there isnt much in alpha at the moment, but at any moment that will all change, we have over 20 products dropping in alpha alone, New stuff and many things our competitor Sells but at prices even china cant touch.

once things start rolling in very very soon it will be a nonstop pouring of new product after new product.

used GV's Eco Glue (on cracks) & a piece of Zebra packing tape
....

I've got one due for a reglue today. Should be dry by now.

just got some cryptonite 8 v3's in , we will put them up for 2.49 , ill turn on the page shortly

looks like the v3 in deisgn but some have the wick exposed. performance is on par with the previous version

Cool... I got one of the first versions and performance wise it worked really nice... the only issue was the intermittant juice dumps ( as mentioned in that thread ).... I really hope they have that issue behind them, these are great looking BC's that I wouldn't mind have a batch if they don't have a tendancy to leak...

If some more Alpha ( or other ) products get in before these are gone... I'll certainly add one to my cart to try out.

I still have working v1s, I just have to keep them on their side so they don't leak. Monster VTF out of 'em.

I only get paid once a month, so sometimes the CC has to take the hit. Luckily, the CC bill usually shows up after payday.

Once you go VV it's hard to go back. That Rocket is pretty nice. You really can't beat it for the price, especially if you're unfamiliar with VV.. it's a great way to try it out. I ruined mine messing around with it, but going to order another one with my next order,,, after I see what drops (if I can wait that long!)

Not enough power was certainly one of my thoughts when you posted about your issues.... and is why I asked how much it was putting out....

I've tested mine on the charger for my smart phone which only puts out 5.1v and 850mah... it fires on all settings but even on the lowest.... it is very weak. On my USB 2 ports that put out 5v 1.5a... only the 4.8v setting is a bit weak. I may have a older power supply that only puts out 5v 500mah but I can't recall if it is a corded one with a micro USB plug or if it has a standard USB port on it... if it has a standard port and I find it, I'll test with it later to see if I can replicate the results you are seeing or not. I hope it duplicates those results, if so a different power source is your answer.

I am looking for a usb car adaptor for my car to use with my pt and the store by me has a 5v 700mah no amps listed i'm guessing this is not strong enough correct?IDK it all confuses me lol
