I put an amber Phiniac with black caps on my tox. And a black enameled porcelain drip tip. The tank is just a bit wider than the tox; but it looks pretty good.

I'm still having problems with mine as well. It just floods and floods and if I fill it it knocks the center post off and it's not the easiest to get back where it's supposed to be...I've given up on them

I simply removed the cerakote with a diamond file.. (carefully) to reveal the origional gold finish.

I have a splitfire in the curing stage as we speak, after it completes, i will post before And after pics.. The vivi turned out beautiful.. So i have a blue splitfire that im going to make black as well.. It should be sexy.with a light blue matching drip tip.
Got bored the other day and finished up the CE9 rebuildable finally. After a little grinding, a nice hydrogen peroxide and vinegar bath, and parts from an old stardust, she was done and put back into service. Nice and small, works just fine.
Hope everyone is doing well. I was shocked to see Alpha stuff on sale though! I might have to pick up some odds and ends!

There is a leakage issue on the Apollo tanks. Which is too bad cause they feel good in your hand.
Hello my alpha members, here is a quick update.
Thanks to our Alpha program and especially solomnpenguin , smoktech was listening and watching this thread and the video and now are putting an rRMS on the new zmax 2 when they are ready with improvements.
Also we have many many new alpha program products on the way so dont fret.
also the brand new Telescope version 3 in solid SS with new look and vertical venting is on its way for the main section, more vents, and hotspring.

I would love to welcome some PM's of late. However posting in GV (actively in our sub forum) is a must. Many of late are missing this important step. Time is needed, reports here necessary. We need to see you can take the time to post on products within the alpha program.
Actively posting on ECF in a civil manner includes PM's. Please respect the process and the people that run it.

Apollo 6ml tank
Okay I made some headway on this problem, at least I think I have.
Got everything inside and the tank replaced, cleaned and triple checked all mounts.
I went to a thicker juice and the gurgles have pretty much stopped. I can turn it upside down and get an occasional very light gurgle that goes away quickly. Taste is improved as well.

I already have one of the V2s on the way.
I'll put it through the same testing I did with the V1 and report back.
I use a 80% VG juice so I don't see how that would help my problem. I have the biggest issue with when I refill then, the darn post in the middle comes loose on all three of these I bought. I bought extra heads and have changed those out, but it seems to be a losing battle. I thought I might just be screwing on the tops too hard, causing the post inside to become loose, but I've tried screwing it on at various strengths to no avail. Then comes the leaking,I think because the post doesn't sit right.
Don't get me wrong I love the look of these tanks! They're awesome and
futuristic looking. If they made the heads easier to change, allowing for more room and maybe made it more like a Nova or Spitfire, where you just change the top of the head (instead of the whole post)these would be just fine and I would really like them
