Well, I have half of those flavors  HA RY3 doesn't seem to be available anywhere in Canada either. Ordering from the US is not a good thing right now - Canada Border Services seems to be nailing every damn thing that comes in from the US due to the ongoing tariff war. I'm pretty sure they are trying to discourage us from buying American.
You said you had a HA tobacco flavor? You can sub. Drop the Oakwood to 1% also.

So, are they confiscating packages from the US or just delaying them in some finicky inspection process to discourage USA orders by increasing the apparent shipping time?

No to both - what they do is stop everything at customs and charge tax plus a "processing fee" of $9.99 per parcel. So, if you buy say $50 US of stuff you get charged about $18 CDN extra or they hold your package hostage. :( If you don't pay it, back to the US it goes. This seems to only be flavors and eliquids right now. I need batteries soon and I always order from Illumn.com. It's never happened with batteries before but there's always a first time.

Lithium batteries can be for your flashlight or a number of other products. Juice ... not so much.

I can see Trump's tariffs as a warning to other countries who want to sell their products in our country, but people want what they want. US companies started the China thing to crush the unions and shut down factories that did away with America jobs as they moved manufacturing overseas. It's a two edged sword that appeared for us during Bush 2's presidency. We got low prices coupled with government interference at first.

I remember when Chinese products were being held at shipping ports to slow or stop the influx of Chinese goods. It wasn't a fun time. I took forever to get anything from China during that time.

If you want to pay the workers less the workers need the cheaper products. And that does not include some overpaid CEO importing those same cheap products and marking them up 3x.

Agreed. Even if I get hit with taxes and fee's I think I'll still be saving money so it's a no-brainer for me. I'll do my purchase with Illumn.com and hope for the best.

I am like @FranC, not big on cake vapes or in RL. How low of a % can I go(for the cake flavor) in that recipe without totally changing the mix? Ballpark is ok.

    :)

I really have no idea... :( You could just leave it out or sub another type of flavor for the texture the cake provides. A cookie might be a good choice. Of course, it wouldn't be the same, but my version is different than the original as well and I like it just fine... :D

Ok, thank you. I think I will leave it in and give it a try. But not until my next mixing session. LOL

You have to wonder how grocery stores can sell gallons of water for just a little over a buck. Must be a truckload at the time to shave the shipping cost.

Shipping has to be a profit center for ecig suppliers.
That's the big difference between common carrier and parcel post. Shipping by the pallet load is far less labor intensive than individual packages. A hundred gallon pallet, gets handled once; and is delivered to a single destination. Verses, 100 separate gallons, each getting handled separately; and deliver to 100 different addresses.

And, I agree, shipping and handling has always been (and always will be) a "hidden" revenue center, for retailers. They sell you a "low cost" product but make up the margin with S&H mark-up. It is like marking up a product, so it can then mark it down again, and offer you a "sale." You still pay what I wanted you to pay; and you feel like you are getting a bargain doing it.

Retail is 90% perception and 10% reality.

I just made testers of the VTA Botanical Gin, the VTA Tonic, and the FA Whisky. I also made up a Gin & Tonic Fizz which should be S&V so I might give it a try tomorrow. I like to let them at least "settle down" before I vape them. :)
    Eagerly awaiting your findings!:D

Found a recipe for Summer Clouds ( desc as a peach floral) that had peach, white peach, cherry blossom, and whipped cream ( don’t have, subbing meringue and a drop of shisha vanilla) and sweetener ( ignoring that, fruit is sweet enough). Interested to see how it turns out. May do a sft of Summer Clouds too.
