And why do you know what fire ants taste like?
I’m making a wild guess ???? People around here eat some odd things, but to my knowledge fire ants aren’t part of the cajun diet. And why are you picking on me lol?@Skeebo eats candles according to him
It tasted dry and combusted, and a little spiced canned peach all at once. Not particularly inspiring a recipe right now o_O

Shisha is actually flavored tobaccos to be placed over hot coals, then users can draw through a water pipe using individual hoses, known as Hookah pipes.

And, if you should happen to visit London make sure to visit some of the neighborhoods with Shisha bars. Some, maybe most, have tables set up outside with the hookahs and folks puffing away. The fragrances are absolutely amazing. I never tried them, but I always loved hanging around near them and sniffing.

I thought maybe it was some kind of gourmet treat or something. Either that or you had been on that Fear Factor show where they have to eat weird stuff.

Good morning to you random folks.:) Have you any plans today?

I might mix something, we'll see. A run later, probably. I've been slacking. It took me so long to be able to run without injuring myself, I really don't want to lose that. Even though the best part is when it's over! On the positive side, I can get a good outdoor workout in quickly, and I'm rarely cold.

It’s raining here. So I’ll be staying indoors except Sunday dinner at Mom’s and setting up Dad’s printer I gave him. House cleaning. I want to make more ejuice and maybe setup another mod with an rda and drip some. Time goes by so fast. I had 13 days off with now only 4 left. I want to just chill the rest of my vacation.

Dang it @Bronze you are so methodical, organized and get things done. Are you quite sure you are not a robotic human experiment? I have been wondering for some time but like, now you joined this thread, I am giong to have to ask that the next time you injure youreself (well, you probably don't very much) you check for metal parts.

Good morning flavorers. This is the first morning I have woken at 5:50 am (the husband pointed out if I needed 2 hours to call out, I needed at least 10 minutes to assess mysefl which like, I hate him but he is right.)

I would say he was s robot too, only there was the boil. Dom't worry, I won't tell it. He is also the type to mutter, "Nothing gets done around here until I bleed." I told him he was a subconsccious self harmer and he did not like it..LOL.

Anyway, first day I have woken up not feeling like that sinking sensation when something goes "splat" on your hair from the sky and you see a bird flying by and then you loook down and you have stepped in dog poo and your sneakers have really deep treads.

Don't get me wrong, I don't feel GREAT but better than that. Maybe there is something to this sleep scheule thing.

Husbando is complaining about my dinner time now. Sigh. I used to do yoga at like 5:15 am in Sierra Vista and I HATED it. A LOT. I did not have call in issues however, and I could eat earlier. Of course, I would have to go to bed earlier so I don't know what it nets me exactly.

I told him I wanted a few more weeks at like 6 am before even CONSIDRING it. It was hell, but more efficient, i knew I only had so much time so I never defocused.

i cannot emphasize enough how much I HATED it though. Sigh.

    I'm serious. Check it.

And GOSH you know it's kind of a COMPLEMENT. LOL. Slightly backhanded but well, robots can have feelings too. If you don't believe me, watch the movie "Stealth."

I dare you to watch it.I have seen it about 11 times, it is my son's favorite movie of all time. It is also one of the WORST movies of all time. It does, however, demonstrate the Often Premised Movie Theme that Robots can have Feelings Too.

The only worse movie my kid loved was Joe's Apartment. For a while me and the husband would allow the kid to suck in whomever visited the house to watch it with him after dinner. Just because it was so hialrious.

I think it may have caused people to stop visiting; we decided to halt the practice.

I refuse to organize my flavors becuse right now I got them all in boxes upright jammed into my small fridge.

If I buy more I will have difficulties, and finding the flavors I need will become even more impoosible,, so it is stoppinng me buying more, mostly. I need that in my life right now, flavors are kind of the last thing I am worried about.

Good Morning Mixers. Gonna try an 'Anna' here...

Christmas was great ! All three kids and three grands. Mamaw cooked a huge meal (which we are still eating on, and she is talking about giving some to oldest son, in a divorce proceeding) that everyone loved.I got just what I wanted - a #20 Ed Reed jersey (becauase I bought it for myself). Mamaw loves her Keurig, her old coffee pot has been retired to parts unknown. She gave me a $200 Lowe's Card supposedly to get whatever I want. But I will just hold onto that until something breaks or dies, then it'll come in handy.

Christmas Evening (not Christmas Eve) we all settled in to watch The Christmas Chronicles. Kurt Russell plays a hip Santa. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, daughter says he makes a better Santa than Tim Allen (her older brother disagrees). I had four REOS/ Galaxies and a P3/ Achilles on the coffee table at the time. About half way through the movie my granddaughters (18 and 17) started puffing on them. Apparently they are in the "Juul crowd". Which means they had never tasted vape like mine. Two Grands had NET flavors. Sutliff's Christmas Spice, which about three months after extraction mellows into a delightful RY4 variant, and Scotty's Honey & Chocolate. Also had Vanilla Lovers Dream and Caramel Surprise in the other tow Grands, and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie in the ProVari. The two of them went round and round from mod to mod before settling on the Homey & Chocolate and the Vanilla Lover's Dream. At 10mg nicotine it was probably easier on them than the Juul anyways. Their Uncle John, my younger son, said "Now you know what to get them next year." They were amazed by squonking to fill the lower chamber of the Galaxies, so they went around the mods one more time to watch how it works.
And Urlacher was put up in the spare bedroom, so everyone went home without teeth marks. Good Christmas.

Went to see Mom yesterday. The doctors gave her three months to live in early October (cancer) and I think the end is near. She seemed so weak and frail. A devout Christian woman (she worked in the Christian Radio editorial dept. for 25 years) she has seemed at peace with the inevitable. But she is really getting weak. She lived a good life, a free spirited and independent woman who has travelled and enjoyed her life. But I don't think she will make it much further. A lot of reflection these days...

And I slept until 8:30 this morning. Anybody who knows me knows that use doesn't happen. Must needed it.

And Bronze is not a robot, just a grumpy old man. Takes one to know one.

Let's hope mom is as pain free as possible before she slips away.
