I’m glad we got him too. He’s a sweetheart, and whoever had him first obviously loved him, and trained him well. He has good doggie manners.
There’s so many blk and tans besides rotties... dobie, min pin, .... hound, doxie, GSD, beagle, bernese, etc etc. He gets his first visit with our vet Monday. Maybe they’ll have a better guess than me.
Min pins are so cute! A neighbor walks her prancy pair every evening. They’re very regal looking.

Yes, regal looking and prancy are good descriptions! They walk with such pride and precision and seem to prance along! It's entertaining to watch them walk.

Well, the hvac guy came. Our A coil is leaking Freon. To replace just the coil would be about as much as a new unit. They are going to email us quotes on a new ac unit. He said our furnace was a really good one and he wouldn’t replace it. He said if we buy the AC unit then they would throw in a new blower motor. It looks like we’ll most likely just go ahead with a new unit. Talk about bad timing. We just paid summer tuition for my youngest. That would have just about paid for a new unit.

He's adorable! I'm so glad you've got him. I wonder if he might have a little Min Pin in him? They are miniature doberman pinschers and have similar markings to a rottie and a doberman. That might explain why he looks like a rottie but is smaller.
Just to clarify...min pins aren't mini dobermans, they are a much older breed than dobies but do share some ancestral lineage.

Always glad for a chance to sneak in a pic of my min pin, Ali image.jpg

Oh and Dulce de Leche (TPA) 2% with
French Toast (SC) (Real Flavors) 2% is quite good.
I have been playing around in Zazie's blog all day and finding some recipes.
This one stumps me. I have all the flavors BUT is @Necrospecter saying to add French Toast and Dulce to this or perhaps that French Toast and Dulce alone make a good recipe. Any advice? Has anyone made it

No not good. I really can’t complain that much since it lasted 21 years. We bought the house new 21 years ago in August.
Still would have been nice if it lasted a bit longer.

In the past I've tried 2 different cherry flavors, not too fond of either. On a whim I bought cherries-INW- what a difference. I believe these people about nailed it, and you don't need a lot.
Not sure which ones you tried, but just read a review and this seems like the perfect pairing for (RF) Wild cherry. I know many people complain about most cherry flavors tasting like "cough syrup" or "plastic"... going to add it to my list. Thanks.

Which French Toast? I really like (RF) Real Flavors but add a bit of cinnamon and vanilla myself.

When I was a kid, we would make home-made french toast all the time (actually I made it) and would use the standard maple syrup but when we went to a restaurant, I would always get boysenberry syrup... might try some berry flavors with that (I like Purilum Boysenberry preserves)

the French Toast in my post by @Necrospecter.
I just found a big bottle of RF French Toast and it taste's good. Vaguely remember buying it a year or so ago and like usual, do not know why.
Vaper please tell how you mix your concoction? Percentages and which vanilla? I have Holy and Shisha. Cinnamon I have Flavorah

Heck, just email them back and demand they add some of those desserts to the package.

I am deeply suspicious like, I will find a dog tooth in it. Or you know, a tooth in general. When the big dog was teething, I kept a few. This is because I wanted the kid to take it in to the school nurse, when you lose a tooth in school, they give you a treasure chest to take it home in. *I* felt the kid needed a few more of those chests, so I instructed him to take one to the school nurse. I wanted to see if she'd notice. Oh, she NOTICED alright, I had to rescue the poor kid from assured destruction, like and solemnly affirm it was truly and entirely MY idea. I still asked if my kid could have a treasure chest though, because it was clearly the parent at fault and like, the kid DID deserve one for following instructions.

I want the poetry. I love bad poetry. You know, not Emely Dickinson bad, but armature bad. I sincerely should try to get enough poems published so that I could teach a poetry class, is how much I love it.

Here's one I wrote a while ago I found. It MAY have the title of a pop song. I can't remember. Like that is one of my biggest issues with poetry coming up with a great title and being informed by my poetry class "Why did you name it after a Peter Gabriel song?" And I'd be like, "I didn't." and they would be like "Yes, but you did! Change it or make it relevant" and I would be like "ugh." It's about this really creepy place me and my kid would go sometimes to show each other our BRAVERY.

    Lazarus Act

The motionless air sits quiet on
    the hollow ground.
    On Saturdays the hunters
arrive, to listen for their chosen
    deer, hoping to mark
the red hides with metal pellets,
hoping to drag the heavy bodies home
    over the inclined paths.

No noise here, when walking past
the safety zone be sure to wear bright amber
lest the branches under human feet
    be mistaken as movement
    marked for slaughter.

The still pools, the chill waters
    enshroud the bodies of missing
children. In Spring, the slender fingers
of twigs brush against the surface
and ask these shadows to rise again
and play. Sometimes at night the children
will answer, calling for their mothers
begging the trees to lift them back out
but always the boughs bend fragile---
they drown again, the water unbroken.

    The slow moving spring puddles
    from one lake to the
next. It drags the glutted bodies
    of bottom hugging fish, who
    lurk, to rise for flies.

The white birches in the forest all died
last winter. they hang thin widow-makers
over the narrow trails and wait
to drop. Not even a creak of warning.

    The absent creatures speak
    in the silence, murmuring of
    their weary wandering days
    of pacing through the woods
    and searching to bring home
    their missing fathers, mothers
    daughters, sons.

I am fond of this poem because no one could fix it other than making me move the second to last stanza to where it is. My poetry teacher was like "The white birches in the forest all died last winter" is the perfect penultimate line." LOL it was the creepy place.

So I think my demand may be send me 5 poems and no you can't be jerks give them five minutes and a subject of my choosing they can pick out of a hat! OR YOUR order is CANCELLED.

All went well at the VA I suppose. It was fine. Husband is tired LOL.

Ugh one of my references called, to ask questions. Sheesh. This is like... you want me yesterday? I am coming to her fairwell lunch sine fever finally subsided and all.

Definitely! Three years would have been nice. I know I keep talking about it but can’t wait until the youngest is finished with college. We’ve spent five years in a row paying for it between her sister and her.

I am glad I have one kid and he hated school. I will never pay college fees and you know I'd have to and ARGH.

I very much admire parents who give their kids the start in life they want (if they want it) however they do it. It is a Good Thing to do although I do admit I wondered if there were times the parents were selling blood plasma. Well, they weren't but they did have to sell my horse at one point. I can't say I blame him the horse was not coming to college with me.
