How do you wick it with the Gemini? I have a Griffin & Crius. They should probably be done like your Gemini? Any pics? Thanks!

I hope this works, but cut of at an angle, then trim it down until only a bit goes into the channels closer to the bottom. Wet it up, stick it in, screw on the channel ring and then go at it. Break in times vary.

After not using rayon for about a month or so I can honestly say (again) the flavor difference is large but the nic hit is even more substantial.

These DM balls are awesome @JeremyR, I have been vaping this 16mg NET in my R91 using KGD and it still wasn't delivering the nic hit I was looking for chain vaping MTL. After about 5 pulls I had to put it down using DM, got nic buzzed.

I'm happy again, oh how I missed the true flavor of my ADV.

Looking really good.. You've learned from the best here.. Sounds like it working well, just keep going and going with it.

The proof will be in time.. Over time any lack of efficiency in the design of the wick will make itself evident by the coloring variations of the wick.

The true test is usually by the second or third day. By this point if it's wasn't good it will be evident by color or loss of contact under pressure.

I will say, I don't really have the patience to leave it long, and my juice gunks it pretty bad. Still working on that fact, dealing with finding a sweet spot so I can get more than 50 ml through it

Lol!

Sounds like me in the beginning when I first went back to rayon after a foray with hemp.. Could vape 12mg all day long and not get a nic buzz. Dropped the Rayon in and was putting down my mod after 4-5 hits with a nic buzz from 12mg that I never got chain vaping with other wicks.

It really is amazing

The key to learning those things is running it untill it actually fails to provide the quality of vape your looking for. Then looking at what you've got. You could have a 100ml wick there and pull it out due to boredom. Missing out on learning that what you did that build worked.

Air to power ratio combined with releasing the fire button early to use the residual heat in the coils for vaporization instead of cooking the juice to the coil can help tremendously. Also if your flavor is coming through really well, as it should, look at diluting the juice some to reduce the sugars and flavorings. You should be able to reduce by up to 25% and still get better flavor than on cotton.

Yeah, was actually going to make another batch once I can sit up longer than 10 minutes. Will cut my flavorings down a bit. See what I can do. I have about 5 more weeks stuck at home so I should be able to fine tune some stuff.

Please post a picture after 3 or more days with that wick. This will tell me the story, the Rayon will speak to me. power and vape style will also infer on the wick design.

It sounds like you may need more thinning in the main tail of the wick. A few days will tell. If so I'll have you do another 45° angle cut on main portion of the wick.

It really is best to do this with the same wick, your tweeking it in use... It will respond instantly and you'll be able to tell if it improved in less than an hour. The color of the wick will get lighter or clearer. No need to start over again, cause then your dealing with other variables again.

For me and others rayon is about reducing the work load or vaping. I go months without rebuilding or rewicking. I literally went nearly all summer without doing anything with my vape but filling and vaping.
