I'm gonna have to try some of that to satisfy my curiosity. Not because I don't trust those who have repeatedly said other options are better, but because I'm a stubborn, bull headed man who has to learn everything the hard way by seeing for myself. I remember thinking to myself, once, when my dad told me to never pee on an electric fence, "we'll just see about that."...Turns out, he knew what he was talking about.

Reminds me of someone I know ..... myself. You are not alone !!

I went ahead and ordered an Avocado and a Theorem. Kidney Puncher was 36 and 25 and 10 off code. Bought a couple of AW 18350s to get free shipping.
The first thing you need to do with the Theorem is to remove the green gummy base o-rings and put a pair of KFL tank o-rings there instead. The KFL 19x17x1 mm o-rings make getting the glass off and on much easier.

The SS sleeve on one of the glass tanks is just glued on so don't wash it as it falls off.

I also read of taking one of the two orings off. I don't have any KFs but have some STM and other orings that may be the same.

On @TrollDragon 's advice on the sizing. I ordered them on Fasttech. I received them but didn't try using them yet.

I am a knitter and so I love the feel of quality wool. I would knit with this :p.

It just runs through your fingers like silk. Not sure what that means for wicking and vaping though :p

Rayon is a nice fiber, in clothing it's like having a garment that's about 80% silk and 20% cotton.

Used to have a few rayon shirts, delicate but nice.

Usually that means that your wick is reabsorbing the condensate from your vape. Check to see that your wick isn't making contact with the sides or top of your atomizer chamber.

My wick gets darker with age and usually it is just remnants of things that don't atomize at vape temps. It could also be sweetner and such too.

Main thing to look out for is flavor dropping off. Then it is time to rewick.

On my velocity I just changed the wick after a month of dedicated usage. It was kinds gross (dark) looking and I was beginning to tell that the flavor wasn't as crisp as it should. I could have wicked earlier but the flavor never really dropped off that much for me to care to.

Dark just on the top? That's what mine have since I got the Aromamizer v1 a couple weeks ago from LLB, and same with the v2.

It vapes beautifully for 3 days with the dark top. I change wicks then, and the body of it is always still quite white.

I use about 45-50ml in 3 days, am quite content with that. I could run longer, but that is just my standard for changing.

Alright, now that I have fixed the burning taste that occasionally came with the help of @JeremyR, I have put about 150 ml through my boreas. The flavor is still coming out strong and I am working on resisting my boredom and rebuilding. I think that I do prefer the side airflow for the ss builds.

All my STMs are now 316L wired and rayon wicked. See ya in a month or so.

Been a month now. Now that I'm at home all day I'm vaping a lot more. I do a 3ml refill on all 3 STMs at least once a day. I did take one apart. Coil had a little buildup but the wick looked fine. Pulled the wick and pulsed then brushed. Doesn't seem to vape right. I think the wire distorts or something from the dry heat. Looks like the end loops are larger than the middle. I think I will just put new coils in from now on.
