Any rayon you have you can make into a sheet by spreading the fibers apart and layering them... Could you just make a small wick the size of the donut and cut it to fit down in there around in a circle like a oring?

Oh great master, give to me ideas do you. :)

I'm wondering if the resulting layers could be pressed, like a shirt, to make the result a bit sturdier. Obviously this wouldn't be starched :D

You would need to weave the layers, I would think, that is if I were thinking again. :)

You lot are hilarious.

Just make a deal with your partner. Give each of you a budget to spend however each of you want and then don't question the choices. He/she can buy blue socks or anything and you can use yours for vape gear.

In our household hubby is a vaper and I buy all the gear but he also works with wood and he can spend as much as he likes on woodworking machines, clamps saws, drills. I think I am in front. :p

Me and wife have similar arrangement. I get a stipend from reimbursements for mileage in attending medical visits. This is my 'allowance' which I may spend within reason as I choose. She gets to have a similar stipend that is a small percentage of her paycheck working at a local outlet of a large thrift store chain. Often I hear "Warning, shart," and need to watch as she pulls several shirts from a shopping bag. We get too much clothing at times and she has to re-donate some.

Eventually, I will be doing the homesteading bit, wood working, gardening, raising livestock, firewood, plumbing, 'lectric, and so on. I also do laundry, dishes, general cleaning, can sew by hand a bit. I also write a bit and piddle with computer stuff a little. Want to get back to hunting, trapping, fishing. :) It's all good though I like helping my Lady. Difficult seeing a clear way to get back 'out of the home' to work for a lot of differing reasons. Not that I don't necessarily do not want to, I do want to, just not seeing it happen.

Besides, I can get some money if needed by doing stuff that provides food, help to others. I won't touch the money though, folks can pass that to my wife. I'm looked after fine enough. :)

The wife and I are retired and we live off of SS and a few small retirement incomes, so we have enough to be comfortable as things are now. We each put a little on the CC each month, which we keep at a level we can pay off each month. We also take $25.00 each a week for our personal stash to be used for whatever we want.
If I want a new mod, or atty that is pretty expensive, I save for it. The stash builds up quickly enough, and I guard it pretty strenuously. When there is quite a bit there, I hate to see it dwindle, so that kinda tempers my spending. :)

My wife was so thrilled with the hot pink Pico Kit, she didn't even notice I got the Bachelor. Both seem to be solid choices. The Pico is tiny...not much bigger than a Zippo. The flavor from the Melo 3 Mini that came with it is good, but she goes through the 2ml capacity pretty quickly.

I didn't bother re-wicking the Bachelor. First thing I noticed was that air intake is relatively quiet compared to some of my other tanks. Break-in was quick and not typical of the cottony flavor, but I already had more than a half-a-day's vape coating on my tongue, so I thought the flavor was just meh. After letting it set overnight, however, and turning it up to 50w this morning I'm impressed. Good call, J.

Yep, know the feeling on limited funds. :) I like keeping a little back in case we run into a 'pinch' time and need something like critter feed, TP, milk, bread, the ever needful things. Modesty and moderation in all things, even themselves. :)

I'm happily enjoying using the RSST w/ unflavored base presently. It suits even being single coil. Pondering seeing if I may find a regulated squonk box, though. Enjoy the Hawk Sauce too and do like squonking. It's nice building coils in pairs for a deck. Also fun winding some up ahead of need.

Thinking I have found my sweet spot in vaping. Some form of a bottom feed rda, squonk or genny, swapable 18650 batteries, rayon for wick. Mod can be regulated, or not with a mild preference of regulated for battery life considerations. :)

How do you wick it with the Gemini? I have a Griffin & Crius. They should probably be done like your Gemini? Any pics? Thanks!

Yeah, gonna have to rebuild and rewick shortly, but I just cut at an angle and trim down slightly, then put a little bit into the channels., pics will come when meds kick in enough for me to move.

Thank you so much! Take your time, my rayon won't be here til tomorrow. Hope you are ok. Don't bother if you don't feel well.

Just some minor back surgery, but it gives me an excuse to move around
