Touching the glass isn't an issue, but you want to make sure and poke something down where the wick touches the glass to improve wicking.

I'd just trim it back, up above the channels, so it doesn't contact the glass but leave enough to prevent leaks. Rayon will wick from what appears to be hardly enough to supply a large coil with enough liquid, and then some. I use 3mm coils in Fogger V6s and trim the wick back far enough to keep it away from the chimney walls. That leaves just a thin tail in the liquid channels and it wicks just fine that way.
I actually used Delasco's on the pics upbove, the previous wick was with Graham's which is the Sally's right? I pinched off 15%. Tight through the coils, like someone posted above hold on to the notch coil with your fingernail or it will get a little distorted. So are you using the whole strand of Sally's with the notched coils?
I can't wait for mine to arrive!
I love the look of a see through tank and deck as well!I haven't ordered one yet, reason I say it doesn't matter if it touches is because my wicks ride on the chimney of all my devices without any issues.
I really want a Theorem, just something about seeing my build working that is appealing.
I have read this from a few users, so I have a Fused Clapton sitting here just in case I find it the same.Took me 2 strands to fill the notch. I didn't like the vape from it though. Not warm and dense enough for me.
Excellent, I have a bag of dm balls here to try out in it as well.I actually used Delasco's on the pics upbove, the previous wick was with Graham's which is the Sally's right? I pinched off 15%. I'm thinking it depends on the atty Brent. So what do you guys prefer, tapering angled cut or a straight cut down to desired width from just past the coil? After over a year with rayon I still haven't decided which I like best.
Yes, it was actually the first one that I did right., cut at about a 45 degree angle, trim the tails down so only a very little goes all the way down![]()

Lol! You can give the other box to a female family member or friend that colors or perms their own hair.So... I got my rayon yesterday and wicked up my Herakles RTA as describe in the post above. It worked okay, but I really couldn't tell any difference from cotton, and it was difficult to get it to wick right was either leaky or burny. I must have wicked it oh...5-6 times and felt I just wasn't seeing any difference.
Come to find out the cellucotton I ordered on Amazon, while Grahams, or whatever, was actually just cotton. I went to Sally's today and got myself a huge box the right stuff (for only $5 I'll add) and I can now tell the difference. LOL.

Got a cyclone wicked, and right off only about half the vapor. Hmm, I didn't wick it any differently than I do with the Sally's, so what's up?
Did you get a chance to play with your 30 & 32g Ss316L wire yet? Did you like them? I just ordered the same ones today.Got my Delasco's today, along with the SS wire. Really quick shipping. The bag of rayon I got has "Non Sterile" on the bag, is that what you all have been getting?
I pulled a couple balls out, and straightened them out, and in the length, the thickness varies, so I had to kinda play with it by gently spreading, and pulling, and rolling to get a more uniform length. So, will get an rda wicked up here in a while, and see how it goes.

Try building a bit lower next time, because, since SS wire goes up in ohms while firing, you're basically vaping at a higher ohm than you're used to if you built to the same ohm.I did a coil for one of my RM2's with the 30g @ 1.25Ω, and I dunno, I can't tell any difference. As it's not as springy, it is easier to work with tho.
Not as springy in itself is good news! Easier to work with check markI did a coil for one of my RM2's with the 30g @ 1.25Ω, and I dunno, I can't tell any difference. As it's not as springy, it is easier to work with tho.
I didn't know that! Cool! That's why I love you guys! Sharing of experiences & knowledge!Try building a bit lower next time, because, since SS wire goes up in ohms while firing, you're basically vaping at a higher ohm than you're used to if you built to the same ohm.
Someone else in another thread wasn't getting the vape he wanted off SS and someone explained that to him, next thing you know he's really enjoying the SS wire
ETA if you're vaping regulated, though, not sure if that applies.
Did you try Fasttech? Seems like they have a lot of spares for tanks that have been out for a while. I saw Kangertech Subtank o rings there. I don't know about the Subtank Plus, worth a shot.so I figured out my leaking issues with my sub tanks and it was never the rayon at all it just coincided with when I started to use the rayon. the o-rings on the bottom of my rba deck(s) have become flat. and therefore allow juice to seep down through especially when im moving around. kind of frustrating because kanger wont even respond as to where I can get new ones. I have looked all over and got nothing. they are tiny little thin chincy o-rings and after screwing and unscrewing they flattened out. I hear that it's because I screw them down to tight but if I dont turn them down all the way when I take it apart to fill the rba stays in the tank stuck to the chimney. I kn ow this much I will never buy another kanger product. I'll go back to smoking first. im really frustrated because kanger wont respond about where to get the orings their only response was that it's user error for tightening to much guess I'll simply use pre-built coils until my Cthulhu comes in today. sorry for the rant just wanted to clear this up. apparently this doesn't happen with the standard rba's as they have better orings even though they look the same the ones on the rba plus are cheaper and less rubbery therefore dont expand when you take them out. maybe I fiddle with them to much but thats kind of the point of rba's isn't it?
