Seeps by the base orings cause they tear. Put new set on.. I tried to be careful as possible and second or third time I took apart the oring was torn.. then the ports don't line up with the wicks anymore and it starts weeping.

Ahhh, that's why mine doesn't leak. After I put it together, I haven't taken it apart since I started using it...more than 250 ml ago and still doin' great. I believed you when you said it was cotton, but I'm having a hard time reconciling that with the results so far. Maybe it's just a freak thing...a miracle or something. Maybe my wick is blessed.

I'm sorry.. Lol, yeah it's pretty good, had mine a few months, leaks though. Seeps by the base orings cause they tear. Put new set on.. I tried to be careful as possible and second or third time I took apart the oring was torn.. then the ports don't line up with the wicks anymore and it starts weeping.

I have a vertical build in mine right now that's pretty good, need to post those pictures... Im tired of the weeping though.. .. Happily vaping the flash e-vapor as I type.. Hard to beat it.
r u talking bout the bachelor or limitless.
the bachelor base orings are known to shread when screwing the base on, the clear/white oring.
trick is that you insert the base until it bottoms out then start screwing the base into the body.
i hope that will prevent the oring from being shredded, time will tell.
been through a few tanks and a few coils and so far no leaks, i also, w/drip tip on, i slowly suck on it while i close the top lid to relieve pressure buildup when closing. but i have to remember to close the juice ports when refilling.

For the record, I was talking about the Bachelor in my response to Jeremy about the leaking, vincom. The Bachelor is my favorite all day workhorse, but I regularly have 6 or 7 other setups sitting around to help me make objective comparisons.

As for the iJoy/Limitless, I moved it over to my RX200 and got the TC dialed in with a custom TRC set to M1 and all is right with the universe. I really like this thing, but, like most dual coil builds, it's a juice hog when you let out the reins. 4ml doesn't last long enough for me to make this my all day device. BTW, I wicked it exactly like I normally would with Rayon (tight), but with longer shallower angle cuts to thin the tails which I left hanging about halfway down into the reservoir.

Bachelor.

Yes I knew that before I bought it.. And been active in the bachelor thread helping people and promoting that technique. . Doesn't matter, time is limited.. One wrong turn and it's ripped/ nicked. I don't have a problem leaking through wicks at all. It's all oring weep. It vapes well, just gets annoying after a few months.... If the juice ring doesn't bother you then you won't have too much an issue with it

If there's a ring under it, or liquid showing at the seam, it is weeping. It starts slow and eventually grows.

I watched that thread for a while after people here liked it. Sounded like too much trouble for me.

So far I haven't seen a top fill tank that doesn't have problems. I tried an Innokin Apex and Lemo II, watched videos and threads on some others. All seem messy or leaky.

Guess I shoulda watched the Bachelor thread, I just ordered three of them. Any chance someone has found a better O ring?

I said it wasn't as good as the fev a few times a while back..;)

It's not a bad tank, of course it has its pluses and minuses. Probably more pluses for sure. I was disappointed in the oring problem.. The tolerance is so tight there's not much else you can do. Oring has to push through threads with little available room to get to sealing area. This easy to tear the tiny oring. You only get one spare set and that's already failed for me.. Sure I could use it another year and it still works fine but weeps. Most people get it with torn Orings out of the box, I did, and you only have one spare set.. or You basically have no spares at that point.

If a juice ring on your mod isn't a problem then it will be fine for you.

I popped the top off the first month, it went back on fine though.

I think it's just figuring out exactly how your wicking needs to be on each tank. My KFL's, STM's I wick the same. The Erlk is the same except for thinning the tails. Now I'm figuring out what it takes for a Serpent Mini. Doing it just like I do the KFL, and STM doesn't get it, it has to be just a little different.

re the bachelor, so far no leaking/weeping.
as for ss361l 24g .6ohms on the evic mini, its a hit and miss so far.
the stmini w/ss361l 26g .55 ohms, its a miss w/the evic mini
they either hit to hard, too hot, or protection kicks in even when cold, its a merrygoround

edit. now the stmin hitting properly in ss316 mode, weird

I don't care for the taste of ss316l. Maybe beadalong brand wasn't a good choice. I love working with it, but the taste.....

I tried 316L, didn't seem any different to me than the Kanthal, So I stuck it away for emergencies.
316l by ud has no taste, as same as w/kanthal

I have decided to blame rayon for my upswing in spending.

Until I found rayon I stuck with the small factory coils (which I learnt to rebuild with rayon) then I discovered how many RBT's there are out there that I really like the look of. So I have been experimenting with some of the tanks that I bought on a whim and never used because of the dreaded cotton wicking needs.

A current desk check includes my favourites all with factory coils re wicked with rayon and the new additions of a Calix, an Ubertoot clone and an Eviva all working beautifully with micro coils and Cellucotton wicks. Wow a new phase has begun.......

You have created a monster. Thanks for that. :p
