@TrollDragon , your builds are perfection these days. :thumb:
I don't even come close to yours good sir, I do get by though. ;)

That looks really nice!
Thanks!

Running this in TC trollster?
Yes it's an odd one since it uses two different SS wires. I am running it on the VT133 with Jaquith's UD SS316L V4 CSV profile.

I need to try out some NiFe52 or 70 one of these days.

I think I got it just about right this time:

No leaking so far, but I think I'll set it on a saucer or something before I go to bed tonight.

You running that notch coil in TC or power mode? Congrats on being able to wick it with rayon. They're fairly tender and I could never get enough rayon in them without janking the coil.

Your right, I broke two of the notch coil leads, just installing them, but they do seem to last a long time, especially with rayon. I run my in TC in the new DNA75's.

How are they in TC mode with Rayon compared to other tcr wire?

I mostly still roll titanium coils, but for prebuilts I've tried experimenting with SS. With the latest DNA updates SS is quite good, though I'm still undecided on SS as a full time material I want to Vape from. Some day I'm hoping to find a US vendor that sells more the one grade of SS 430, that supposedly has the best TCR of all SS varieties, then I'll try making some of my own SS coils. SS is easier to dry burn, and of course you can run it in power/watt mode, but I enjoy TC vaping almost exclusively, and I know how to safely dry burn my TI coils, so those pluses are not much of a factor to me.

Nope, I couldn't get them working in TC mode. They keep kicking out into power mode, so the single .25ohm I'm running at 35 watts. I cheated getting the full strand of Sally's rayon into the coil. After I trimmed and positioned the legs of the coil where I wanted them, prior to mounting it and tightening down the grub screws, I wetted the rayon, twisted it up and pulled it through while carefully holding the coil in my fingers. Then I mounted it before trimming the wick. Seems to have worked out okay...this time. Probably just got lucky.
