Oh man, my ADV Kaptain Peanut Butter Krunch is simply sublime out of The Calix right now. This is one awesome atty, just love how stout it is. Holds a ton of juice for its size. Still not sure how it works so perfectly without the channels blocked, but I don't care, lol
I've been spending a lot of time with the Calix and the Phenomenon Lite the past couple days.
Both are just wonderful. It took a minute to realize how little you have to crack open the juice control on the Calix.

Yeah, it's shocking how little the JC needs to be opened. You have to fight with your previous experience telling you that there's just no way it'll wick enough, but it most definitely does.
Lack of JC could have been my reason for not getting along with the Kayfun before.....even though a good buddy of mine only uses KFL with 100% VG ejuice...... again, some supposed 100% VG arent really........ The KFL always frustrated me..... It was always 50/50 of my setups that I got dry hits....
I thought I was just spoiled with my GG Odysseus's. Now I enjoy other tank atties because of JC.

After about 3 ? months of being out of commission, I might be able to use my little Mini Atty by Chels.... Now I dont know if I screwed it up or it had a "fault" but I had one of the insulators melt.....
I dont know how many of you have ordered from Chels/ Mini E-Cig, but it takes a LONG time to get an order, which is fine, I knew that going in, so I placed my order and waited......
ANyway, an insulator melted placed an order for replacement parts, waited a month, got the parts minus the most important one, even though I sent a large, detailed macro shot of it, just in case...... Got upset , sent an email, whined about it....... Was going to throw it away because of "their attitude" they said they were sending me the part and not to be offended as the rep was a "woman too"
Well, another month went by, sent an email and whoops, they had forgotten..... again wait...... It looks like Monday the package might get here..... Hopefully it has the right part....... This was the "import purchase" I dreaded......
That fear of what if something goes wrong, will they stand behind their product, will they blame me, will they talk down to me..... etc.
I really wanted to toss it , but damn it if it was not only a beautifully made atty, but it worked so great..... I swear if they dont have the correct part , Im going to run over it with my car and post a photo on the thread......
But Im a calm, logical, patient person...... and very understanding...... usually......

I semi-block my channels everytime
I know he explained it gets better flavor and all, but I block my channels and put a tooth pick in the hole and it's golden for me On a side note I usually hate dripping cause of the puff 20x then refill. Rinse and repeat. This Prometey dripper is an exception tho. I am probably building it wrong. Like I do with 99% of my stuff, but here's what I do. I just run two pieces of cotton down to the huge juice well and it's almost like a tank for me
I don't put any cotton in the bottom and I know it will leak like a sieve, so I close the juice hole If I need to lay it down and it doesn't leak a bit I may put some cotton on the bottom to bottom wick it. But it doesn't seem to be broken, so I won't fix it. I'm really debating canceling my order for the Tilemahos V2. The reason being, since I have some incredible flavor machines atm, I'm wondering if the Tilemahos V2 flavor can compare. If not, I won't use it much anyway
I seen Roxynoodle mention it didn't have the flavor of the PhenomenoN. I got the zest base and I'm super happy with it. I wouldn't mind the lite base in the future tho. I'm still debating both

Skin-e. I like the Lite base a bit better because of the increased airflow. I don't have the AFC open all the way. I have three holes exposed slightly turned just to decrease them slightly.
Still airier than the Zest base wide open.

I actually have the Calix juice control wide open, but wow, that juice I have in it is thick! Its a 70vg, but its like cold syrup.
How did you setup the cup? Are the wicks blocking the juice holes, or did you turn it 90 degress, leaving the juice holes unblocked, and just setting the wick on the deck.
Yeah, that extra hole adds like 40% more airflow compared to the zest, I imagine it makes a pretty big difference.
No, not blocking. Its just that juice. Its more RDA friendly. I bet it would be a nightmare in a kfl.
Oh, wanted to say I love the duals on the Tilemahos. Great flavor and kick. If I get one, this is the build I would put on it.
Not sure what the diameter of the coils is...2 small Allen keys I use for tiny dual coils...maybe 1.5mm. I did 8 wraps each of 28g for 0.64 oms total resistance.

Can you take some pics when you change the wicks? I'd love to see that.
I can try. I didn't yesterday because its hard to see the bottom coil with the SS "cup" that surrounds the base.
What I did to make mounting easier was to twist the coil leads together like I do when I dual coil a Rose. Then once they were secured to the posts I centered them. Wicked the bottom one first because you can't see it after you do the top. Also make sure you get that bottom wet when you prime.
Does anyone here have a Black Oak mod? It says the atomizer area can fit up to 24mm, and I'm wondering if the Flash e v3 would fit. Its such a tall atty, and that might be a nice solution for it. I don't have vernier calipers, but I think the Flash e is 23mm at all its widest points.
