I think the problem in "new" connections is that suddenly it becomes very limited...... We all love to switch around...... Its a scary thing to put all that work in designing and producing and then selling.

One thing I found when I got the Heron is that all of a sudden you have to get a real mulitmeter.....

Saw that yesterday on some posts on FB.....Looks real nice, perfect for the box devices...... Finally something specifically designed for non-tubes.....
I wanna get one but I gotta figure out what box mod to get. I saw it on a Zero but I wouldn't even know how to acquire one.

I agree about the looks, then again, I thought box mods were homely at first too. I think it will grow on us, just a guess. I Hope the next step is a new connection, something like a seat belt type attachment that clips in, rather than the out dated 510.

:laugh: So true  When I was a Provari fanboy, I saw the box mods come out and I was like :blink::facepalm:

Is there any chance you could link me to what you're talking about, it sounds interesting, but reads like a foreign language.

talk about "off topic" Miyasaki is one of the early Japanese animated movie/ anime guys...... His most recognizable one is "My Neighbor Totoro" They were being done by hand at the time not computer animated......... Usually the english dubs of most anime is real bad , but he gets really great american actors like Gillian Anderson etc..

I have about every Ghilbi movie. Hayao Miyazaki is a brilliant writer, producer director.

The "puppet" is NO FACE from the movie Spirited Away. Its a plush doll with knitting needles. We have a bunch of plush dolls and other nick nacks.

Ghilbi is to Japan as is Disney is to the US. As a matter of fact, Disney has the US release rights to many of the Ghilbi movies, e.g. Ponyo.

My favorites not in any order :

My Neighbor Totoro
Spirited Away
Ponyo
The Secret World of Arriettey
Tales From Earthsea
Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
Kiki's Delivery Service

The first 4 are the most famous. Ponyo probably the most in America. Totoro is the mascot of Ghilbi. Its the Japanese Mickey Mouse. They are all just amazing movies.

Real quick post relating to this thread

I keep falling in love with this Piccoloid more and more. It's quickly become one of my favorite devices. I love its form factor, the amazing flavor it produces, it's incredible looks, just everything about it.

I was laying in bed watching a movie yesterday, and I just set it on my chest, didn't even know it was there. I'd grab it, have a wonderful couple of pulls, put it back. Awww yes, as I laid there I thought...if this is anything like heaven, sign me up

Tales From Earthsea is one I never saw and heard of till today....... I got into these movies in the 80's and when I had my sons, well it was a good excuse to really get into it and the DVDs, figurines etc..... I love having boys, gave me valid excuse for so many things to collect.....

Well, you don't need an excuse anymore, just look at Comic Con. It's all gone mainstream now!!!

There are some amazing anime series now. While I was never huge into anime specifically, there many I like. Then again, I love cartoons in general, soooo yeah. I keep yearly subscriptions to Crunchyroll and Funimation just so I can watch the news ones I like the same day they air, or catch up on some classics.

Cartoon Network seems to always be on when I turn the tele on in the morning and sit down to have coffee, lol
