Yeah, they're real bats. My girl loves bats, we have a few more taxidermy bats in cases that look real cool.

Taxidermy is an artform that I love , but truly kind of creepy, when you think about it..... "I think I'll hang this carcass in my home of a once live beautiful creature" but I would have more , if I could...... I have little skulls of small animals and birds in my "Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" along with toys and other oddities.....
I think a shrunken head would be pretty cool. I turned on that History or Discovery show about the ship in SF that has all those strange and interesting things.
The one guy made a makeshift shrunken head out of some sort of animal, and it looked just like the real thing. Pretty cool watching him make it too.
I love live bats, but admit taxidermy and museums of anatomical oddities and specimans freak me out. I am not a veterinarian because of it. I can't handle seeing anything that is under skin. No muscles, blood, organs, etc. Bones are ok.

I used to have this huge, old barn and it was filled with bats. The Metroparks people thought I had the area's largest population of Big Brown bats, and would come out to study them. I had no mosquitos. The barn was hit by a tornado. I've had all kinds of mosquitos ever since.
Going on vacation for 10 days. I'll check in when I can. hold down the fort.

Dragonflies eat mosquitoes as well. I used to watch them endlessly flying back and forth along the back of my house eating mosquitoes.
Bats' radar is so cool. I remember as a kid that they would come by at dusk every night. We would grab COPYRIGHTDMCA from the street, toss them in the air and watch the bats dive down at them.

Oh, by the way, I hit on a truly excellent flavor build for my Lemo 1.5 weeks ago. Last night I put it in the eXpromizer and same great results. Today I'm going to put it in the Kayfun 4. Its 1.3 ohm so if you're running on a mech, try one less wrap. Its 8 wraps of 27g on a 2.5mm bit. This build put the Lemo back into the #3 spot for me for flavor, behind the Rose and Aqua v2. I bet it would be great on a lot of single coil RTAs with similar sized decks.
