I shrunk my FlashEVapor v3.

By removing the two center sections and adding the

tank extension

And the new short air duct

http://www.flash-e-vapor.de/shop/Air-duct-short-V2-V3-chopping_p1117.html

I've reduced its size by 10mm. Juice capacity is only reduced from 5ml to 4ml.

Fa-Q (btw, I used to love typing your SN into the old Mac text-to-speech program in elementary school, felt so good tricking it into cursing, lol) you need to get into that Calix ASAP, it's been vaped every day since it arrived here, loving it!!!

BTW, watching The Last Starfighter for the first time (crazy I know) right now, this movie is AWESOMEEE

Used the 27g last night. 7 wraps around a 2.5mm bit @ 1.1ohm in my Taifun GT V2. Vapor production and warmth is good but I feel I get slightly better flavor from 8 wraps of 28g around 2mm bit @ 1.2ohm. Still need to play with it a bit more but pretty good for my first build with it.

Lately, I've actually been experimenting with thinner wire like 29g and parallel 30 or 32. I like that the thinner wire heats up and cools down faster, seems to gunk the coil less, but I've not been able to get the same thick, velvety vapor from my 28g builds.

I have 7 wraps of 29g around a 2mm bit @ 1.4ohm in my Eviva-T and 6 wraps of 29g around 2mm bit @ 1.2ohm in the Phenom Lite.

I've found I really don't need to go below 1.4-1.5 ohm in the Eviva-T with the little ceramic cup. Still trying to find perfect wire/ohm build in the Phenom Lite.

Can't believe I've had the Calix now for over a week and haven't even touched it. Just not enough time to mess with all the new toys.

For me the 27g coil is kicking .... in the Lemo and eXpromizer. Slight improvement in the k 4. In fact, this is the most I've liked the eXpromizer; it just sealed its fate as an atty I will keep. The k 4, I don't know, I just don't like it as much as most. I didn't like the kfl as much as most either. Maybe I'm just not a Kayfun gal. Its not that they aren't good, but that I don't like them as much as other attys.

I agree on the K4. It's fine but nowhere near as good as the Lemo/Drop, Aqua V2 or Phenomenon Lite. I don't know if it's a fault of the K4 or just that the Phen Lite is so good.

Edited to add: forgot to put IMO. Taste is subjective and I don't want to come off like I'm presenting my opinion as definitive.

Outstanding video Dizzo. Added to the OP under the v1. I'll update better at a later date.

You covered all the bases. Just perfect.

Coincidentally, I was vaping on the Ataman v2 on the Eagle when I ran into your post.

True appreciation of the lightweight feature when on a Ti mod.

For those who missed out on the v1, fret not. The v2 is just as good in flavor and wicking performance, now with added airflow and juice control. Plus filling is easier.
I agree. I have it on my provari Ti.
That eagle sure is beautiful. Wish they were in stock. I hope they will come out with another Ti mod soon. Alek has a life long customer.

Honestly, I kind of regret the screen name. I was younger and much more immature then. My screen name on all other forums is different...more normal.

I would love to get to the Calix but with the newborn I barley have any time to myself and when I do I just want to grab whatever is already setup and vape. Hopefully this week I can get to it.

I've never tried the Lemo or eXpromizer but I do like K4, especially with the one piece top cap/drip tip I have. The vape is not spectacular but good and I like the way the glass tank setup looks...something a little different the way it bows out. I don't use the k4 every day but it is part of my rotation.

As for the KFL, I really like that you can customize it with different tank rings, nano kits, top caps, etc. Although I don't like to think about the money I've spent on KF accessories...could have bought more mods/tanks instead.

First rewick on Tilehamos V2. 28 guage, 1.3 ohms, rayon.

I spin the JC open about 3.5-4.5 turns, but still playing with it. 12.5 watts with 30/70 vg heavy, I get nice large and slow moving air bubbles after a vape.

Any pointers helpful, but it's working really well for me...

All that wick above the threads where the chimney screws on can be cut off. You want the thickest part of the wick just inside the coil. You really need to thin the tails on rayon for optimal wicking. Other then that I'd say it looks pretty good.

Thank you, would you trim after wetting? I'll spin the tank off and try it now...

I always trim before wetting the wick. Try fanning it out vertical like in your pic, start the cut at 50% off the fan and angle it so the cut finished right before you reach the coil...if that makes sense.
