Waiting on some 28g ni200 to get here. I have 32 but oi what a nightmare. You can't wick the stuff, it just folds at the least bit of resistance

I try to build with 32 guage and if you breathe on it --it looks like the leaning tower of pisa--hahahahahaha------ps I think you could make a wig--hairpiece--out of this stuff--hahahah

Ooo, the VGM v2.5!!!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

BTW, TC builds are supposed to be money in those, so if you have some nickel toss it in ;)

I'm gonna throw a build on it tonight. Played with it a bit this morning; took it all apart, lubed the o-rings etc. it seems pretty solid. The build deck seems cramped but the chimney is huge so I don't think it will be a problem. The top cap over the top fill holes was on tight but I managed to get it off. Apparently you have to close off the juice control before you fill it but I'm not sure why... The juice shouldn't go up the channels if there's air in the chimney but I could be wrong about that. Also, they apparently sell a "tool" for opening and closing the jc but it's pretty much just a flat head screw driver and the keychain screwdriver that came with the erlk fits it fine.

Other than that she's solid, heavy, and seems like she'll be easy to build. Can't wait to try it out tonight [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

Ok, so.... Built the vgm2.5 with 28g ni200 coil reading .11 ohms at room temp.

First, the build deck on this thing is weird... The screws are flush with the deck so you really have to pull the coil up over the air hole. Not a major issue but I would like if the posts were raised a bit. Other than that, no problem. Wicking is easy, standard fat shoulders with tails, running some cotton down the juice channels. Note, I don't think you can get to the deck once you've filled it so if you don't wick it properly the first time you're gonna have to empty to adjust.

Now to filling. She's a top filler which is great but unlike the erlk you have to take the tip off and unscrew and remove a top cap. Again not a major problem. When I first opened it up I had a hard time getting the fill cap off as the entire piece wanted to come off. Around the fill holes are two small o-rings. One of which likes to fall out, good thing they send extras.

After filling I opened the juice control a bit, but apparently not enough. There's no way to see how open you've got this thing. I've ever so slowly been adjusting the jc and the temp control on the mod because I'm not getting enough juice in and it's hitting tc pretty quickly.

Airflow... Fully open it's a lot of air... Too much. The airflow is adjusted by putting little screws into the 4 holes around the base. I currently have 2 holes closed off.

That's about all I've got for you guys so far. It's a pretty atomizer decently easy to build, not super easy to adjust. Flavor is good, vape is moist. In conclusion, it's a nice atty but I don't think she's gonna replace the FeV any time soon.

I have one - I really like the double Window. Here is a pic on my SX Mini "M".

Kinda wish the double window had been the stock one...I think it looks much better.

People who like to throw stuff could get the sturdier single window separately, lol

I didn't try it that way. I twisted the short one. I will try that. Thank you.
That is interesting. I use the CM with straightened Kanthal or NI200, start a wrap by hand on it, then use the short end to finish the coil - adding an extra 1-2 wraps. I then take the coil off, reverse it on the CM and carefully pull the 1-2 extra wraps off (similar to what PBusardo does) and the coils look great.

Initially I did have issues with the coil wrapping on itself, but I wasn't doing the initial wrap by hand....

Does anyone have the Atmistique Atermon mod? Do you like it?

I'm looking for an affordable 23mm mech to match some of my tanks.
Did you ever get an Atermon? Sorry, I'm trying to read all of the threads (page 50 of 182) and you may have answered later in this thread. I ordered one and haven't received it yet. If you did, how do you like it?

So what is the difference between the ataman and the ataman v2 in flavor? Looking at some YouTube and it appears that they changed the method of feeing juice to the wicks going from a juice being fed by straws up to the coil in the ataman to juice holes in the side. I couldn't find the ataman but see that they have the ataman II available.

The deck, juice control are new and the afc is different.

Personally I like the v1 better.

Alright, so I finally got the hang of tc on the dicodes so I've been able to pay more attention to what the vapor giant mini v2.5 is doing.

On the juice control, I still feel like I have to open this waaaaaay up to keep the wick from drying out. I have yet to get an actual dry hit but I've had several that were harsh at the end...

I still feel like the layout of the build deck is stupid....

Airflow, I now have 3/4 air holes closed off. Hate that you have to put little screws into them to close them. I much prefer afc that can be adjusted on the fly.

As far as flavor goes it seems really muted.... I'm currently vaping some nicoticket frenilla in it and I can barely taste it. My general impression considering the crazy airflow and big fat drip tip is this atty is more about clouds than flavor.
