I used to poke in the wick tails thru those two holes in my Taifun GS and it worked fine. Still do. I've never used mesh on them.while im waiting for that little beauty to wing its way here, i am going to set about building the Taifun GS2 that finally turned up yesterday! I am currently mesh-less somehow, so a bit of innovation might ne necessary...wish me luck!

ok.
just got round to cleaning it. Bit of machine oil on mine, but not too much. Just letting the base dry out and then I will throe a Ti coil on there and wick her up. Hopefully it will work ok. Doesnt look too bad! Deck looks like a pretty easy build so its just getting enough wick in ether and making sure the tubies make good contact and we are good to go i hope!

I would have preordered from VC too if they'd allow international accounts.

ok so PTFE tubes work great in teh GS2. It vapes really well actually. From MTL to full-on LH its really nice. Lots of AF options of course. I think I stuffed a little too much wick in the coil but that can be fixed. Major annoyance is that I have to loosen the tank section to adjust the top AFC ring which is a bit silly really...Im using the 3 slot version and havent tried the stock one yet. With TP builds, need to be careful to not make the coil so wide that the PTFE tubies end up touching the wire.
Anyway, loving it so far!! Great vapour, really a lot of vapour, and flavour is excellent!! Its not a Erl but the flavour is very good!!

Still upset I didn't know about the three slot AFC when I ordered, so gonna have to order it by itself now if I find myself wanting/needing it after trying the stock one

you know im not sure it is necessary. Wide open it is very airy...like subtank airy! I bet you get the stock one to work just fine...I am going to swap it back in in a moment and give it a go!!

of course Im being a bit silly about the AF since this is, basically, a tank-dripper but still the af adjutability is pretty cool without being too finickity...kind of wish I got the dripper cap now...
ps. did I say this thing is really very good! On my second tank. 80% VG, wicking pretty much keeping up in spite of me, no flooding/gurgling/leaking..works great!!

I've had a pretty torrid time with mine so far. Improvised a cotton donut and though it was working great. I woke up in the morning to find the contents of the tank had deposited itself all over my mod. Juice is still leaking out of all the gaps in the c-frame

i have everything wide open lol! Its quite a cloud machine!! Wasnt expecting that somehow. Flavour still there though. Awesome atty and thanks for your help and pics and stuff!So far day 2, wicking perfectly. Only using lower AFC. Great taste.
