Levelized billing is a good thing. In the deep South A/C kills us on power bills in the Summer. At least you get an averaged bill each month that's the same no matter what the weather does.
Best move we ever made was putting in solar (excess is bought by the power company). Took our summer bills from shy of $500 to @$120-150 July/August.

Damn Vape Fresia MTL/RL RTA
Thanks! One pic shows your tails just about hitting the deck (I think, from the pic) and one looks like it's not hanging down at all. Am I seeing that right? What wicking technique worked best for you with what blend juice?

Love the Fresia, trying to make friends with the True (it’s in the shame corner of the drawer of tank oblivion until I can figure it out).
For anyone interested, I put pictures of the build that’s working for me on the Fresia thread. Disclosure, I am NOT a photog by any stretch of the imagination, but you can get the gist
Hi Mel - I'm not sure what issue you're having with the True, and why it's not doing it for you? I know a couple of people had leaks, and I think I figured out why. So if that's what happened to you, you might want to look at this:Calling all Dog lovers - The Ehpro True MTL RTA

I see you're also using 3mm id - I think this tank is designed to do better with 2.5 or 2.0. I like it best at 2.0. Hope any of this helps.

I've dropped my doggy coil id back to 2.25 - was at 2.5. No idea why it makes a difference to flavour but it does ;)

Told y’all I’m not much of a photographer. They are a hair longer than the deck floor in the picture. I take a dental pick ( toothpick or corsage pins would work) and spread/fan the wick out at the deck. I aim for as close to or just touching the deck as possible. One picture was the wick wet and pulled out of the wick hole so you could see how much wick there was. Here it is wet (old wick) and new wick before I put juice on it. Pictures confirm I’m a messy wicker . Also confirms it’s not too picky!

I have a 2.5 in the True. When it behaves, it’s great. Tank is a little tighter than I prefer, but flavor is so good. It randomly vapor locks on me. Juice level doesn’t seem to be the factor. If I open the fill cap, take a puff and close it, it corrects sometimes. Same build, next fill may be fine. It did leak like a sieve the first day, but after that it’s been dry. I’ve tried every amount of wick possible. Built it while doing it step by step with the manufacturers video even. I felt like if I set it aside for a while, whatever I was doing wrong would come to me.

One of my minis does this Mel, discovered one juice port was having a hard time getting the air bubbles out. Simple tilt of the atty releases the bubbles but a pita. Will try another wick but haven't had the issue with the other mini.

Might be onto something there... my True has slightly deformed silicone in the juice ports. They bulge out a bit. That reminds me to check if they can be settled in a break down. TY!!

I've never had a vapor lock issue, but I don't chain vape to any real extent, and only go thru less than 2ml per day. I do all VG. Give 2mm id a try, and see if it helps- it might give just enough room to wick better thru the channels. To be honest, I don't ever do anything related to thinning or fluffing- just cut to length, tuck it in, and go. Hope that helps!

I have two Rose V3 (gold edition) originals and I LOVE them. LOL. More of a restricted lung hit in my opinion and I don't know what changes the deck has, between V2 and V3 but mine is a 4 post deck upon which I built ONE coil diagonally because I mean COME ON.

Anyway, I like mine, I would not call it a "tightly closed off" MTL atomizer, and also, yeah, it's restricted lung hit with one coil, no clue what two parallels would be like,

Also I got them on clearance for like 20 bucks each. I think they happen to be fantastic, but I could see why, marketed as a MTL tank, there could be some strong hate for these, especially given the marketing as MTL. I still vape mine as sort of MLT at 15 watts with the airflow wide open but this is... Well, it's a different kind of tank. Had I paid oh 67 dollars for one as a "MTL tank" I might see some annoyance about it. Etc.

It’s odd, not dry hits, just no air, with the af open all the way. Letitia may be onto something though. My fill ports’ silicone bulges out quite a bit. I’m going to give it a good bath. Again. And see if I can reseat or access to adjust. If I turn the cap back to almost open, it’s fine . But, that relegates it to the table until I figure out the problem

It seems fixed... mushed around the seal around the fill ports so I can at least fit a dropper nose in, and wet the oring and put the bubble glass back on. Someone suggested it was an air leak at a wonky oring. Who knows, but for the moment we are friends.

I'm not sure the exact measurements of the airflow holes on my Gear RTA but to me, it's restricted. If you enjoy moist vapes, I recommend it. Only downside is the juice capacity but that's because the chimney is so low, which enhances flavor. I carry around a bottle of juice no matter what anyways so capacity doesn't bother me. I think I paid somewhere in the $20s w/shipping for it.

Creek rda built with lesser af deck,af open full (didn’t even try the mtl kit) is just perfect! Restricted dl, nice and smooth, works great with with my squonk.

Yeah that is such a nice looking RDA - awesome win Mel :thumb:
