Rush Limbaugh on e-cigs

As my friends tell me I'm a devout "liberal", I hate Rush and his usual faucet of misinformation. Then again, this whole "Liberal vs. Conservative" thing is B.S. I love Obama (really, best president in my lifetime), and have a safe full of guns, including a dozen or so "assault rifles" (ARs are like "mods" in the gun world). I've also been in two branches of the military and spend every free moment hunting & fishing. But I've been best man at a "Commitment Ceremony", and believe in Health Care reform.

Overall, I think people like Rush, who try to put us into buckets, are screwing up the political landscape. We need to be focusing on the tough job of working out stuff in the middle. instead of screaming at each other from opposite ends of the prescribed political spectrum. This ..... is hard, and we need to work on it, together. Anyway, that's my view.

But hey, part of his story was entertaining. Until it became a story about his fame.

Wow, we are almost exactly alike except my friends tell me I'm to the right of Rush politically and I don't like Obama. I have lots of conservative gay friends and I'm all for health care reform. I just don't want to pay for your health care. Now if you were humble enough to come to my door and ask me to pay for it, I might. But when you go to the government and make them make me pay for your health care and threaten me with imprisonment and confiscation of my property when I don't, that's just plain... Well, let me throw it in a bucket... Evil.

I think that's the difference in a nutshell. Liberals always seem to confuse compulsion and compassion.

There are famous people using ecigs that could hurt the cause. Like Kathy Griffin or Genene Garafolo ... death knell right there.

Oddly, they both have their own following and if they vaped it wouldn't affect me one way or another. It would get the word out. I still run into a lot of people who have never heard of them and when I tell them about ecigs - they seem to like the idea whether they are smokers or not. Many non-smokers can't wait to tell their smoking friends and relatives.

It would be kind of fun to have a civil political debate with a good beer and vape. The e-cig just might be able to bring about world peace.

There you go! We know Obama likes beer (remember the beer summit?) and Rush likes to vape. Obama quit smoking so he's jonesing for an e-cig real bad. If ECF could get those two together, it would be the media event of the century.
