It probably would be, but my son is moving to Colorado in a couple months. He can get pet insurance there, if he wants. I don't want to start some "non opt out" policy. He does have petcare through petsmart so everything's discounted, including vet stuff. Only, this happened late one evening, so my mom had to take the dog to a regular vet.

They totally GOUGE you for that stuff, yes. My son's first dog was an Australian Cattledog, and she got bit all the time, but she's actually part dingo, so we discovered after our FIRST snakebite, she has a natural immunity to snake venom. Every time she got bit after the first time, we just gave her Ultram for the pain, and she lay around for a few days.

But, NOTHIING was gonna put THAT dog down. Her first act of "excitement" was eating half a bag of dark chocolate chips. When we called the vet the vet was like, "Um, I'm afraid there isn't much we could do, give her hydrogen peroxide to make her vomit, call me back to describe it." When we did (foamy brown) the vet was like, um, I would probably just wait and see if she dies or not. There isn't any better emetic we could give her, so just keep an eye on her and try to keep her comfortable, and if she dies, she dies.

Thankfully, she didn't die, but she was our dog with the least common sense. One time she chased a rabbit RIGHT through a cholla bush. It took my husband about 2 hours to get all the spines out of her including her MOUTH, since it was "wide open" to catch a rabbit. LOL. I really miss that dog, she was a super sweetheart with absolutely NO common sense. LOL.

Building the doggy makes me want to talk "dogs."

But you are right, @Fidola13 we do need to get that dang dog pet insurance. It's so cheap compared to human insurance, we really should. I'm sure we can find a nation wide plan. It's just hard for my kiddo since he's moving and will have to get work and everything, so it's going to be a big push. The kid rarely lets her out into his Arizona room any more because spiders and snakes like it there.

I'm curious, how will knowledge of Ohm's law prevent a badly designed switch from frying itself into permafiring?
1.0

What I meant by that is, is that she knows how to build coils to a battery.. I have two of them and have never had any issue with "permafiring", not saying that I won't but now that I know it has occurred in others, I check it frequently. All devices have some issue with them. some are worse then others..
I really like my Dots..and will continue to use them.

I like the Therion 75C more than the Paranormal 250C. The slightly smaller size fits my hand better. Both vape equally the same since I’m using the same material profiles on them. Wish I had bought another Therion instead.

Just thought I’d share lol!

Yes, @Hightech Redneck , I have seen the other dot mods. Some of them are just crazy lovely too. But, I don't really "need" another box mod just because I like the way it looks. What I actually need right NOW is to get an 26whatever number battery for a mod I impulse purchased for it's "look" alone. I have no idea how it will vape, but it is rather pretty.

I refuse to buy a squonker I don't find weird looking, ugly, etc. The dot mod has been the only squonker to do that for me, but it is a mech mod, really, and unfortunately many of the regulated squonkers look terrible.

I'm really just holding out until "my unicorn" squonk that is regulated comes along.... Because I'm sure it will, and I'm in no hurry.

I will say, fitting a board a battery (or even two) and a squonk bottle and assembling it all together does not lead to-- aesthetic appeal, or at least so far it hasn't.

But, I don't want more mods, I want the "perfect" squonker. I'm sure it will show up at some point. LOL

Good luck. Every time I find my 'perfect' mod, something perfecter comes out.

Shop around the corner has a copper Kraken for $20. I am trying to decide if I really want it. It would be nice in the collection but I would probably get much more use from another RDA.

What’s it good for- flavor? Clouds? MTL or DL? And do I want one too? Lol!

If I am correct it is a dual coil Genesis. Airflow seems much smaller than I am used to. Prob. An airy MTL or restricted DL. I saw it sitting there all patinaed and it looked like ot wanted a home. I don't really need anything to polish and look at though.

What's it about? How evil vape uncles are luring the childrinnz into their vape vans with flavors and labels? How a whole generation of teenies died after vaping made them smoke? Or how the best base for proper regulation is emotions, sophistry and cherry picking?

Pretty sure it's gotta be one of those. Did I score?

No, I really want a regulated squonker but I haven't seen one that appeals to me. I'm not SO worried about a mech (although it's good information to know about dotmod, it's just the only squonker that visually appeals to me. I'm not going to pay that type of money if it's badly and unsafely designed though. I don't think I'd blow myself up, I understand the principles involved and how to use one, I know some things to watch out for. I just would never, ever bring a mech out of the house, and that's kind of what squonkers almost seem designed for. IDK. The regulated mods I have seen tend to be .... ugly.

Hence, my not getting anything yet. But, I believe it is the year of the squonker, one will come along to suit, eventually. LOL.

I have never owned an RTA. If you give a Squeeze box a try I will Try an RTA. I was looking at a Kraken earlier. A big AF dual horizontal Tank With 810 DT would be more my style though. I like the Admudus Voluna. If folks could point me to an RTA that won't just frustrate me it would be much appreciated. I have one drop in tank left ATM. So far I have had little luck with tanks. I want one with no leaking or spitting. I may not be giving them a fair chance. I got turned off of them early on with the old style tanks and never really llooked into tanks as rebuildables. I like the Crown and Fireluke mesh drop in tanks. My wife took my Crown tank and I don't think I am getting it back.lol
