I didn't get the tag alert from @Letitia for some reason. Yeah loving the B2K, I have the TRVP edition on the Inbox and haven't put it down since it arrived. Excellent flavor, easy to build and a TON of accessories. The juice well is a little shallow so squonk accordingly.

Here's a different slant for we shinyitis veterans that I'm going to try.

Dig up all the devices and toppers that have gotten squirreled away as they didn't work for me or are just not what I like to use, even a bit, ever. Keep all the ones I still feel attached to in some way. The remaining pile will fill my "Crap" box. Roughstacks, Silver Bullets, GG's, Kayfuns, bunches of mechs and RDA's are all candidates. Even some strange wood mods that seemed so cool at the time. I've accumulated a lot of stuff over the last 6+ years.

When I want a new shiny, PIF or sell one or more items in the Crap box. No need to match value, just a way to balance out my stockpile while feeling I've done something useful. One of the very best rationalizations!

I really need to do this myself... so much gear accumulated... ugh! Selling it will probably end up offsetting some of the massive amount I spent in 2017 rather than balancing new purchases though. I'm pretty much done with new hardware at this point. I have only 2 things on my radar: A jorda rda and maybe the new aspire squonker that will be released soon. Time and more info on that one will determine if I buy one though.

I am going to make a concerted effort to not buy new gear this year and focus on diy mixing instead.
