The silicone thing at the top that you lost I'd rather call a gasket than an insulator, the 510 of a squonker should be juice proof anyways so I don't think it matters much in that respect.

Are the walls of the bottle's 510 threads thick and long enough to touch the 510 pin in your mod? If not then I don't think there's a problem at all, if yes then don't fire (even by accident) while refilling.
