Got a serpent set to arrive. Patiently waiting... I have a coil wound for it already. I am excited to try out an rta. Hope excitement don't turn into frustration. Wicking looks simple enough on it, but I on't want to end up drinking my juice.
Which one? The SMM or the Serpent Mini? I have a Serpent Mini and it has been ok. I like tanks that have more airflow than that one does. Flavor is outstanding. I have that and the Ammit in about the same category. They're grrrreat for getting a little nip o' nicotine on the stealth but when I need a big honkin' hit I usually reach for something else.

Mother lode today. My excitement is somewhat tempered by the fact that my credit card statement also arrived.

When you retire.. the prefixes no longer matter.. They are all just days..
I'm still praying over whether to semi-retire this year and just work on projects I'm interested in, or push it three more years. Cool thing is that if I decide to slow down, I can reduce my hourly rate and take projects that aren't fast-tracked.

I never miss schedule milestones but I'm getting too old for the stress. Last year's hip disaster and the neuropathy that took away the use of one hand suggests that while I'm charming, witty, handsome, brilliant, talented and otherwise blessed beyond just deserts... I may be mortal.

I got the SMM. Airflow looks pretty decent. It is strictly a 510 so now I am on the hunt for one of the press fit drip tips with maximum inner diameter. I will see how it is. Watched a GrimmGreen (MmmMmmmmmm!) review and he really liked it. He is CloudsBroClouds and he was really pleased with it. He did say it is geared towards flavor chasers and he got best results with longer slower pulls. He also tried dual coils but not successfully. I have seen dual verticals done in it though. I will let yuu guys know how it goes.

I say retire as soon as you can. There are beaches to lay on, margaritas that need to be drank, and sunsets that need watching. Tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. Might as well be you!

No matter how little I made we always found a way to make it work. No matter how much I made we always found a way to spend it... There may well be a massive strike here on June 1st. which I may or may not be involved in (fingers crossed). I have a couple backup plans but it is still pretty dicey. Seems like it never ends sometimes... until you retire.

Physical limitations can wreak havoc on your emotional health.. I know all too well..stress is the Killer..anything and everything you can do to reduce that level is highly recommended.. Life is way to short..

Semi retire now! I did and it is so worth it. Tempering costs a little but great satisfaction at having more time to do what I love. Life is too short to work hard until we are almost dead. IMO

We have bunnies, gophers, the occasional raccoon or skunk and squirrels that jump from the shed roof onto the birdfeeder.
Only 35 miles from Boston and I scared the .... out of a moose in the street in front of my house when I opened the door to get mail one day and a neighbor saw deer in my front yard a few times. Our dead end ain't nearly dead.

My friend Charlie showed me the Black Widow nest behind their TV when I visited his dad's house when I lived in AZ. He said the critters had lived there for years and go from the front door to behind the TV and never anywhere else in the house.
I kilt one that was making a nest next to my front door. No thanks.

Deer, tree rats & bunnies are cool.
Black widows, scorpions and rattlers not so much.
