Pulse 80W is a winner. I've tried it with the Pulse 24, a Pulse 22, a Wasp and the Nudge. Perfect resistance read every time. It will take me a day or two of tinkering to digest the manual and try stuff.

Temperature control is done right. You can either use the coil resistance the mod reads when you attach the atty, or set it to some other value. Each wire type has its own mode and you can set the TCR for any of them. This means you can "roll your own" TC model just like you can with devices using dna and joyetech chips. I'm impressed.

This is something that got my attention.
I realise it's not perfectly clear but I keep res low to upload pic.

Looks like pitting but what do I know?

The arc marks and pitting would be normal from where the contact is made. Mechs need to be cleaned regularly and a little DeoxIT applied.

You would need to clean the contact side as well, does it come apart for that?

Well call me stupid. I wasn't aware I could remove that part, not even sure I could get it back together correctly.

I clean my others.
Guess am to blame.
If you can't clean the contact side too then it's their bad design.

I have a couple Asmodus mech mods. Best quality machining of any mech I have. I love my Minikin 2! I think it is my favorite regulated of all I have owned. It is so solid. Be aware of the touch screen though. Mine unlocked in my pocket and got turned up to 180w. It was quite a nasty surprise.
Think you can upgrade the firmware to make the screen manual.

Hard to say if there's pitting, but that discoloration definitely indicates that there is not a good electrical connection. Bad connections are a bane of mechanical mods. They rob power and generate heat where there should be none.
