I blame Tony Brittan. In one of his videos.
My scissors are ok, but like that these can be used to comb cotton, tuck wicks, and 5% goes to vaping advocacy.
I saw those. Probably do a bang up job as nose hair trimmers. Just sayin
:)

Whoa. Bling level +9000.
Too much? Would it just cut holes in me/everything pocket I put it in?

Ok - I’ve been off the forum for about a month and I come back and there’s 2200 new posts in this thread!

I’ve been a busy bee on my own shiny stuff addiction (and my day job). But I wanted to post some pics of my favorite mod right now.

While I was away, I bought a bunch of batteries from IMR, a badazz battery charger (and tester), some 100mg liquid nicotine, a little rotary badger paint mixer, two mech mod clones, more lab supplies, a Kennedy clone, more twist cap PET bottles, and there’s more stuff on the way, LOL.

But my daily workhorse is still my VooPoo Drag. I tend to run it in volt mode and keep it at 4.2. This mimics somewhat the hit I get off my mech mods.

Incoming, I have a Dovpo MVV variable voltage series mod, another SOB hybrid clone, and probably some other stuff I can’t remember!

I’m addicted.

between here and there
What shipping are you using from Fasttech? The air Mail takes forever. The USPS first Class is 3+ weeks, the United States Express Packet about 2 weeks.
United States Express Packet
I have always used this shipping method. And I did not order anything with batteries, internal or external. Maybe someone at FT is marking them incorrectly or they have a new over ground carrier in China that doesn't know how to get it to international shipping? I dunno but I do know I sure am unhappy about it.

The price tag, JFC. Although there are some gorgeous things out there for high prices, and they may be beautiful, sometimes they make a fantastic vape, sometimes they won't. There are some things I am willing to pay more for, and some I am not.

IDK, "High end" can be pretty subjective if you ask me. A huge win, or a huge loss.... :)

Someone educate my, I'm ignorant.

What makes a "high-end" mod?
Why are some so damn expensive vs what they physically are?

I wanna rant. Not gonna. Wanna though.
(Feeling ill and grouchy)
I'm going to ignore the point of your post, "What makes a "high-end" mod?
Why are some so damn expensive vs what they physically are?" and focus instead on the rest.
First you say your ignorant. Then you claim to be ill and grouchy. And all of this while your little "mood chooser" shows "Amused". Which is it?
Hope you get to feeling better.

Ill mostly.
Missing work sucks because ill. Because of mechanical issues I'm also forced to split & move wood or freeze. I'd rather just hug my stove.

I looked at a 3d printed DANA 75C mod for $200 (if I remember) and couldn't get past...why?

Same goes for some mec box mods/squonk mods. Aside from internal parts I can't see why some (not all) are so damn expensive. I guess value is subjective as well.

I get why some tubes are up there. Material vs engraving...ok. Not my bag but I guess I see it.

So....amusingly grouchy with a runny nose.

@Walter_Sobchak , as an emotionologist I should inform you that it is possible to hold two (or more) contradictory emotions all at the same time. LOL.

One that frequently afflicts me is astonishment/amusement/horror (usually while driving). It's only when I add homicidal to the mix that I start getting worried..... Notice my mood chooser says "mellow." I think I selected it a while ago, am definitely not feeling "mellow" today, although I am feeling slightly better than yesterday (also a health thing) thank Goodness.

While I may complain about AZ in the summer, I will note that I have never required myself to chop wood in the snow, while sick, so there is THAT.

Feel "different" JFC, hopefully "better." LOL.

ETA: Just found "tired." That's a blanket on that works. Me and the husband both agreed that the boy has to have "bounced back" much more easily than us, from the Court Madness. We were both secretly terrified that they'd lock him up and put him back on probation which he already did once, and then we feared he'd become calloused and horrible from that unfair (3 year old outcome). Of course, he did go on a road trip the next day with pals, while I collected his dog. But yeah, tired works.

The DNA mods are expensive because the DNA boards are designed and owned by an American company. They sell the boards to China manufacturers for high prices. That sets the base line for the DNA prices. Their chip is patented and although some China companies have copied it none have managed a direct clone. Joytech gets an "A" for trying (under their various brand names).

IF "TOFTT" means wait, (I have no clue about that acronym) you've given yourself justification to do that-- better colors and finding out what it's like? Etc. If you want enablement, I will happily do so, Mr. Enabler, LOL.

I'm actually quite shocked to see you debating a purchase, instead of saying you bought it and then providing 5 links.:lol:

So I'm going to call this a Shinyitis Harm Reduction win (apparently, the God of Nicotine is not powerful enough for this thread, or is ACTUALLY POWERING this thread), so I won't bless or not bless your purchase, just note this small delay in purchasing and say.... Way to go! :p

Meh. Looks blingy but those are not diamonds. Here's the high end of shiny. These are diamonds and cost a mere 500,000 BP

The tacky part is all that money and diamonds for a clearo vape pen. Bet she doesn't even use it anymore.
