Excellent! I am going to have to get that for the eReader if I ever get Finders Keepers finished. End of Watch and Revival are waiting in the wings too...

How are Gwendy's Button Box and Sleeping Beauties? I'm not a fan of collaborations but enjoyed The Talisman.

So much King so little time.

That's what I thought retirement was going to be like. But after 3 months I'm working harder than I did when I got paid for it.

Mainly recovering my neglected yard so far. Hadn't done much yard work for a couple of years. I've got an acre and a lot of it was taken over by weed trees and assorted vines. Including poison ivy and some nightmare vine covered with tiny spikes that stick into your skin and break off. Last week I dug out a section and built a picket fence round it for a rose garden. I've got one rose in so far and several in the mail. This afternoon I'm planting a couple of rose bush sized rhododendron there.

It's hard for me to relax and do nothing after 50 years of working. Maybe it will get easier.

My girl is wasn’t thrilled, until she realized she wasn’t freezing. After a while she’d bring me her sweater when I asked if she wanted to go out.
Our standard poodle loved her fleece in winter. I really think my lab was offended by what the shirt said lol.

Talking of gardening I'm having trouble with the vape. I keep it in my trouser pocket. But with bending down and getting down on my knees and so forth it gets horizontal or even upside down, so it gets leaky. I put it down one time and it ended up under a pile of weeds. I got lucky and found it pretty quick.

Need to come up with a better solution. Maybe something that hangs round my neck.

My discount code is my employee ID.
Sadly I cannot share this unless you are related to me.
Samsung 4k 55" Smart TV only ran me $350.
Id help if I could. Check Crutchfield, but our stuff tends to be expensive.

Consider (if price is an issue) the TCL Roku TVs. Name you may not know but reviews have been very good.
We bought a TCL for the upstairs den. Check model numbers carefully, some have great reviews, others meh. CNET usually is a good guide. We have a new sony oled 4k for the den. It’s the bomb

Maybe get a small cheap beater mod for out in the garden, that's what I did.
I also have a gardening cart that has a cup holder by the handle that I put my mod in when gardening.

All the books you mentioned are excellent SK V2.
V2? He went through a slump (Lisey's Story) and came out of it stronger than ever IMO.

Sleeping Beauties was like getting an unscheduled SK release :thumb:
Gwendy's is a quicky but very good.

Read Talisman again and start Black House the next day.

Finish FK so you can continue with the Trilogy. I'm glad I waited for them all to be released so I could read them all as one continuous story.

I didn't need to re-re-re-re-re-reread The Shining to enjoy Revival.
Good as stand alone but even better if you know every line of The Shining by heart.

I read Joe Hill's The Fireman. It's all the Joe I (don't) need - not impressed. It had some excellent moments but life's too short to settle for less. Maybe it's his weakest book?

Yeah I had the same problem working on the farm - using my beginner pen mod that fits in a pocket works. Didnt wanna get :censored: on my good mods ;)

@Letitia , did you give me the recipe using cherry blossom? I’m thinking no, because it has peach.... but I made another batch. Quite lovely
I'd have to check in our pm Mel. I did read the flavor notes for your peach and included in a recipe or two so maybe.

I crocheted a little holder that hangs around my neck for my eleaf. After I ran one over with the mower. Looks stupid lol but it helps.

I officially retired a couple years ago. Working harder than I would have thought. I search, every so often, for a mowing company, and if I ever find one that’ll come out my way, I’m hiring them.

Stud Muffin . Child #1 bought it for him, in a doggie 4xl. He was NOT amused. Meanwhile, the doxie pranced around happily in her Bama shirt
My oldest daughter bought our Pug (Sissy) a sweater that is pink and black with a girly skull on it, lol.
I'm not into the whole skull thing, but oh well.
Our Doxie (Mister) has one that says World's Best Wiener. (guess who bought that one)
Our Dane's (Phoebe) is just a version of an ugly x-mas sweater cause it was the only one big enough, lol.
The Beagle (Cooper) and the Great Pyrenees (Pearl), and the cats don't have any. The cats never go outside and the Beagle won't keep it on. The Pyre doesn't need one, lol.
