I found that it was all trial and error. Start loose enough that it will feed and wrap and then tighten it as it goes along. That will give you an idea of what is working. Wire is cheap, experiment and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Btw, congrats for trying something new.I am looking for advice from any Daedalus Pro users. My first experiment with it today was a decided failure and I think I had the wrapping wire screwed down too tightly - the wire holder didn't move back as it is supposed to and just continued to wrap wire on top of the wire. Is there a rule of thumb for how tightly the wrapping spool should be that someone can suggest or I am just going to have to get it figured out with trial and error? I know it has to be "just right."
