That and it seems pretty easy to over squonk. Doesn’t help that it's ugly either. Like the shape but that engraving...
Ugly AF... ;)

I was pondering the Crius rda at one point, and yet another ceramic clamp. OBS's implementation of it looks better than Blitz's though. I have two PoS Blitz Hannya RTAs that stripped out the positive post screws with no effort, so I'm not a fan of Blitz products.

I have no issues with the Crius 2 sngle clamp. But the I only bring out for a few weeks here and there.

I’ve never been to one and wouldn’t mind going. Fort Wayne is the closest to me, but still, a long drive. Don’t think it would be fun to go alone.
Thinking the same thing. I am from Ft. Wayne but now it's a 5 hour drive to there. I have never been to a show before and would like to go for the info. and the Shinyes.....not a big crowed fan either and they look shoulder to shoulder in the pic...lol.

I am so looking forward to playing with my new Therion. Of course you know I will hold you responsible if I love it and need another squonk. Big hug headed your way Col.
i've found that one is seldom enough.
much like digital data which must exist in three places before it is considered whole.

It’s about 2.5 hours down the turnpike for me, which is not something I’d do unless it was an emergency lol. I can handle the turnpike, but not 2.5 hours behind the wheel.

Crowds I can do, reluctantly, as long as I can escape as needed. I did okay at Biggest Week, thousands of people at the marsh, but only because bird nerds are a gentle breed and I didn’t have to be enclosed, or stay put for a set amount of time. They do a 2 hour bus tour that people keep insisting I try, but no way. I bet I’d see a lot, but there isn’t enough Xanax in the universe to get me on a crowded bus for that long!

Good morning shiny folk! Still holding off I am amazed by my self control actually. LOL. I will say this is my first (self inflicted) 5 a.m. day they (I don't know who they are) say it takes 3 days to adjust your sleep schedule so I hope so because I'd hate to be feeling like THIS on Monday and also having to wake up FASTER. LOL.

Oh well it's a good problem to have. Of course, the ONE nanny family I actually wanted to work for, well, they like wanted me as their first choice, too. Also a GOOD problem to have since I turned them down in plenty of time for them to select another nanny, also way better than standing at the gates of hell going "Well, I'm sorry, but ah, I guess I just was worried more about my finances than some adorable little girl," etc. Although I might have said no anyway and etc.

There is the most beautiful sunrise happening out my back door, I could wake up to it every day!

LOL.

Oh, I should note too, I get bonus shiny points for NOT getting something because I guess my private disability ended in June, but that means I get a July payment or something? Heck if I know, I only know that I have about DOUBLE what I imagined would be in my bank account and that is ALSO a nice problem to have. I also don't know if it's correct, so I'm going to like, investigate it, once I get my first steady paycheck and etc. However, I can't imagine they god it WRONG, this particular company was so tightwadded and hard to deal with, even my doc yelled at them at one point, and like he yells at people 0 out of hundred times.

I did call the kid and tell him I will be taking him to buy a wardrobe (functional) and two pairs of shoes and some soylent, which is what I promised him for his birthday. BOYS. I mean, he was happy about the shoes and clothes but far more excited about the SOYLENT. So yeah, IDK what happened but there is a big part of me that doesn't really care, although if it's some sort of felonious or error thing, I should deal with it soonish. But, I don't think it is, I cannot EVER imagine a scenario where they paid out more than they should.

So, I could totally afford a shiny but the rest is going toward my car payment and like, my emergency fund. LOL. The husband had a fit at me and I was like, "Dude, we're going to Old Navy and a shoe warehouse, probably the SOYLENT will be the most expensive part, I'm keeping it under $250, sheesh, you probably spent more on his INTERLOCK."

He simmered down, and I will admit there may have been times in the past when I would have been all EXTRAVIGANT, but that is not the Anna you see before you TODAY.

LOL, I had no pool, and my kiddo was mostly my mom's pool boy more because he wanted to swim in it, so I'll be happy to dream about the kid, but it is NOT going to be X-rated.

I also never understood the cultural meme about pool boys and their hotness? Is that really a thing? The only time my mom ever had people servicing their pool, well, they were totally ugly. Etc.
