Well I called the HR lady and my offer letter is like awaiting the director's approval but apparently they email them. I kept thinking "snailmail is such an odd way to do things" but maybe I was assumptive in like believing that "send" means "physically "mail" but either way I'm glad it's not. LOL. In any case I think I'll get it by Friday. The husband is freaking out. I know he has more to do but he is really giving himself The Badness. II calculated out exactly how long he has been whiny and awful and unable to do anything and hurting all over, and it corresponds EXACTLY with when he started propanalol, and after MY reaction I talked the husband into Trazodone, etc., and since I saw my pdoc I was like, Pdoc the Husband is depressed, LOL.
I was like, "Can't we try trazodone, dude?" and the pdoc got all confused and started talking about SNRIs like Cymbalta and I kept saying stuff like ,"You know he gets manic on antidepressants!" He went ON and on, until I was like, "Dr. .Soandso, NO!!! We are about to be living apart, you CAN'T do that to me, if he gets all manic sexuality again that is IT for our marriage! I am saying Trazadone INSTEAD of Propanalol and because it's so "weaK' as an AD but it knocks you out.
Then, he was all fine with it, like I don't know what it's for. LOL. And I was like "Yeah, and he's gonna be all like, ,"I am groggy, (hand to forehead swoon) and I will be like, "Meh, SIDE EFFECT! Poor YOU honey! I have dentures," and I totally made up this Boot Camp approach to the husband about how to manage the grogginess (although it IS correct, LOL) because the husband can just placebo his way into that, frankly.
He was all jacked up about my descriptions of the jail and the prisoners he was HORRIFIFED with the whole .........ion part, until I explained how to handle it and he gave me this look where like "I can't tell if this chick is JUST crazy or crazy life a fox," although he seemed happier about it once I like, ,gave him a clinical rationale.. LOL. And he was also happy to hear my good news until I was like, "Yeah, you don't get off the hook that easy Dr. Soandso. I'm yours until you RETIRE."
Heh I did live dangerous and purchase something, but it was inexpensive. Etc.
