And I'm complaining that my own 2011 Ford Ecosport is old already... That should teach me!

Hey don’t complain- my bmw is a 1999!!!!!!! But it has less than 115k on it. There are some “advantages” to being on disability. well if never leaving the house is an advantage which for this socially anxious bipolar introvert it actually is lol  !!

Yeah that can be a PITA too. I wish I could come give you yoga lessons. If you can find any "Anusara" yoga beginner lessons on YouTube, I'd recommend it because a lot of yoga has an astonishingly high injury rate. It has to do with the fact that if you aren't aligning your muscles properly (and you aren't stretching with flexion, meaning a muscle has to be in use properly AS you stretch, which is far more Evil to do, but the chances of injury go WAY down). Either that or Pilates, that also tends to have a low injury rate because it focuses on core strength, and strength generally, not just "how limber can I get" although IMHO it's like, actually easier to get stretchy if you are also strong.

IDK, I mean, I'm not the boss of you. I just see so many people getting hurt because they're doing yoga improperly.

This is making me think stols001 may have to do a yoga Olympics post today. I think they DID finally shove it in the Olympics, but I can't remember. LOL.

Anna

I’ve been looking for a beginner yoga video but for chronic illness/pain. If you run across one anytime let me know- thanks:)

I had a 97 316 TDi, I loved it but insurance was hefty back then. That's the problem here, the older the car the more expensive insurance is. I was checking the other day comparing my insurance to that of a new one, exactly like mine, and it's almost the same. That has me a little discouraged, we have no rating here. The Ecosport is a great little truck (I think it's called Escape in the US?)

OH my god. Me and holidays and TEETH. I just lost ANOTHER implant in my upper denture on the same side of the first one. The oral surgeon said I'd be fine with 3, so apparently not.

Gosh darn it, it's labor day weekend, so I'm not even going to call. I still have PLENTY of denture adhesive so I just shoved some on the left side of my upper denture and I'm being gingerly about it.

However, it DOES speak to my fears about my bone getting degraded along with my teeth. NO ONE looses 2 implants while they're all in properly in like less than a year.

I really sincerely hope this doesn't mean that I wind up an old lady in a wheelchair with like, little range of movement along with eating baby food from a jar.

IDK, I suppose if it's a side effect in my mouth, it could be one in my overall BONES. I've been being so healthy lately too! Jesus. I hope it's another thing where the end just came off in my sleep and I swallowed it or something.

Fortunately, the bottom ones seem to be fine, those are the ones that matter most, but they don't really suffer the same gravity issues.

Me and health and long weekends. I give up though, I'm just defeated .I'll call on Tuesday and just Deal. Sigh. I might not even tell the husband as he'd probably freak.

Once I have reasonable insurance, I might well ask for a bone density test, although I really don't know if there's much I can do about it, because it's the lithium doing it, and like, I seriously don't have ANYTHING to replace it with, I've tried EVERTHING.

Sigh. This makes me want to smoke a cigarette but I'm going to try and ignore it, I'm doing yoga in 20 minutes. Grr.

Oh well. Here is where I want to whine and say, "Nothing's EVER easy for me." Only things ARE sometimes easy for me, so I can't even say THAT.

Still.

Anna

I ended up switching off the lithium because of the side effects like ferocious weight gain and loss of muscle coordination which didn’t play well with my ms and fibro lol! I’m sorry you haven’t been able to find a suitable replacement for it.

And it’s really ok to whine occasionally. You know that. And besides you never whine and some stuff just does suck like having your teeth fall out.

Enjoy the long weekend Anna ;) !

My best advice is search on YouTube. Used to be you had to buy a CD without seeing any of it. Now, most of these folks are on YT and some have CDs as well, but you get to at least see their jam before you pay.

Don’t worry too much about the pose shown, they all want to show you something that looks ridiculously hard. And they may even have it in the lesson, but most of it’ll be much easier.

I found that any I tried were good for pain. I mean I wouldn’t do it on my worst days, but when I did on my better days, I had far fewer bad ones.

If I come up with any in particular I’ll post them.

This truck would be perfect for our New England winters if I ever had to leave my house lol! Seriously it’s a sweet looking truck. That’s bizarre that insurance is more expensive for older models.

Looks like an Escape to me. My sil had one forever, she loved it. Wonder how much those are going for these days... I was kind of looking at the Chevys because they’re bigger, but they sure are pricey!
