Dunblane
cancelled my 2nd intake on FT. the restocking thing, again.
still not giving up on the FT DB though. forum staff say that the factory have not yet released the next, long awaited, batch.
going to put the refund towards 7 x 25Rs (£3.79 a pop on fogstar) for the steam crave titan and the rx gen3.
they're sitting in the cart awaiting the usual friday discount code.
yeah. it's all go
there have been other things investigated but i think this particular forum frowns upon such typing...similar to cannibals but entirely different. hmm?

Perfect farm mod... Er pod ;)

LOL on first glance I thought it was a tombstone. However, I also forgot to make the coffee, spilled my first cup, woke the husband (to coffee only starting to brew).

I think he's upset but I'm too incoherent to care ATM. LOL.

Still camping at MiL's house. FiL passed away yesterday :(

Vapes, cold drink, YouTube, Stephen King and hanging in my CKs in the den with the dogs after midnight peeking out back every so often to try to catch deer, fox or Wile E. Coyote cutting through the yard and dis joint has good late nite ambience.
There's a huge meadow with a pond behind the woods out back and we get occasional varmint trespassers so draining the dogs after dark is a thrill.

OUAT we were at my family's lake cottage in central NH back when I had a fuzzy black dog (chowbrador) named Virginia. I liked to keep the drapes open so the wall to wall glass could reflect the fireplace at night. We were reading in low light when I noticed a black fuzzy outside the door next to me. Puzzled, I looked down and Virginia was snoozing on the floor. A 300lb black bear was looking through the door window 3 feet away from me. I chased him away. He actually hauled ash outta there when he that I saw him but I chased him away sounds better.
I did go outside to stomp on the deck and yell so he wouldn't come back.
....ing beggar.
My condolences on your loss :(

4mm coil of Kanthal A1 28ga x3 [twisted] running at 65-85W, though I was looking to run it cooler. Anything over that was getting a bit too toasty for me ...
That build has a heat flux of 135@65W and 175@85W which is quite cool, I try and keep my builds in the 200-250 range but I like a warm vape. The problem with triple 28ga twisted Kanthal is the resistance is so high, you have to create a 0.5 build (8 wraps) to get a functional coil on a 4mmID. Then for me to get within my 200-250 heat flux I would have to put over 200W+ to those coils. It would be much more productive to use 22ga Ni80 instead.

I do twist wire to get a heavier gauge, for example Unkamen only has their SS430 (best SS for TC IMHO) in 28ga so I've used dual and triple twisted with that to get more coil mass running under TC.

I'd reduce the diameter to 3mm, add 3 wraps or more and space it much tighter, I think you'll find it performs better. Also twisting up a pair of that 26ga Ni80 would be better than the triple 28ga KA1 as well IMHO.

Just offering suggestions, I'm not telling you how to vape or make your coils. Whatever works for you is all that matters. :vapor:
