Wow that was quick shipping. How's the hand feel? Sweet build btw.
I was surprised how fast it got here. Great seller and shipped from LA. Love the coils. The Rabbit really shows them off. They dont get too hot either. They could use a bit more power. When the 30Ts come in I will crank it up. Love the hand feel. Solid and comfortable. Very good quality. No rattles anywhere. You were asking about the menu. If you use Wattage just put it in novice mode and it does wattage with no other menu options easy peasy. Advanced mode is gonna take some time to figure everything out. It does coil resistance to the ten thousandths place and tells you the amp draw.

Didn't make my target of 0.16, ended up with 0.24. Off to learn how to drip ...

Next time wrap them like you're wrapping a contact coil (I'd add a wrap or 2 as well), then while it's still on your jig, grab the outermost wraps with your fingernails and stretch it out.
Overstretch it actually. Then compress the coil back together.
Might have to do it a couple of times, but you'll get a nicely spaced coil.
Torching your Kanthal before wrapping can take some of the springiness out if you need to, and torching the coil after it's wrapped can help 'set' it so it doesn't deform a lot while installing it.

On a side note: Try 3mm ID instead of 4mm.

Yep, that's how I do it for spaced coils. If you want them ultra pretty (like, you know, a certain German hair-splitter) then do 4 extra wraps and undo 2 from each side after compressing, that gets rid of any uneven stretching.

I do 2 extra, and undo 1 on each end, lol.
Feeds my CDO and all.

I just set it to Powerful+. They ain't kidding. That is the fastest ramp up time of any device I have. Wattage in advanced mode is easy too. I am gonna start playing around with it for a while. I dont find it too complicated, the Swag menu confused me but this is not bad, just reeeaaaally customizable.

Yihi SXMini G Class Oi confusing interface. After 3 hours of watching videos and software upgrades I finally got it going. Got it stuck in Lock mode ooops. All is well now in Shinyville. Going to rebuild the DJV tank for it later today.

I just did the exact same thing with Power+ ha ha. Dang near cooked myself. Wasn't expecting such a difference as my other mods at the same wattage.

Yeah! Power plus is not messing around. Surprised me at first. I have a pretty massive build on it and it fired instantly. I'm really loving this mod. It is gonna take a bit to figure it out. Love your G Class BTW!

BMWs are like that. The one she got cost something like 60K back in the 90s sometime, I think it's expected if you can do that, like, you can pay for those big fat racing tires that puncture if you look at them funny. My mom eventually got sick of it and switched to knock offs.

I pay 10 bucks at the unlabeled place run by persons of uncertain status with no name "shop" as I call it. They either plug it, or replace it with a similar plugged tire. I'm not supporting American business to be fair, but I am also NOT supporting Mazda either which I believe is a non American business. My Mazda ALSO has the stupid skinny tires. One time I got a puncture by running over a THORN. I was not pleased but apparently lifting it is like, impossible so I can't get sturdy tires. I told the husband he had to get me real tools so I can ACTUALLY change my tire on the way to or from work. I also told him he better Loosen the LUGNUTS which do not need to be tightened to five million PSI by the air compressor tool.

He acted like I was planning to drive the car on fire without a seatbelt or brakes. Little does he know that I know how to work the air compressor and if he won't I'm doing it myself. I mean... I don't want "help" from anyone from where I an driving FROM to like where I am driving TOO. I have to like, cross border patrol like 3 times it seems like. So, those tires are going to have to be removable.

ANOTHER REASON I must plan for my start date. LOL. Apologies.

Anna

I grew up with a dad who made sure all his kids especially his daughters could take care of themselves if needed. So I’ve changed many a tire back in the day lol! It came in handy since I have had to change a tire by myself but I was a lot younger and didn’t have the health issues I do now. I’d probably just sit in my car and cry at this point. Then blow my nose and call for help! Gotta love Triple A.

I bought my bmw as a promotion present to myself but it was a CPO (pre owned thru bmw) and it was expensive enough. Just didn’t think I’d be paying an arm and a leg 20 years later on maintenance.

But to be honest it has needed minimal maintenance. I should’ve been taking better care of it but after I got sick it wasn’t a priority and now money is tight.

However, every time I get behind the wheel and listen and feel that motor I get a thrill. It really is the Ultimate Driving Machine imo  !

I used to do that, now I'm fine with slightly off spacing. Found out the flavor is exactly the same.

For me, it's not about a difference in flavor.
It's because if I don't do it, it'll drive me nuts and I'll wind up pulling everything apart, cleaning it, and putting in a new coil.
My CDO won't let me straighten it up after the fact.

I just saw this. Now I don't feel so stupid about dropping my cell phone into a large cup of coffee a few years ago. Yes, I actually did that.

When car alarms first became popular, I left my keys in my vehicle and just took my remote into the bar.
It fell out of my pocket into a pitcher of beer I was carrying, so I couldn't try and catch it, right in the middle of Eskimo Joe's.
