"BTW, always carry a short piece of scaffolding pole in your boot"

But how will I walk or blouse them?

OK, I surrender. Trunk. I can see the elephant memes being prepared already ... :D

@stols001, I have upgraded the storage facility for my used rda from Ziploc baggie 1.0 to food storage container 2.0 as per your suggestion. It is crush-proof [with the exception of BMW's and elephants], airtight, hygienic, cosmetically attractive and functional.

And on that note, goodnight everyone.

@untar forced me to go look at some vids of fails and such and somehow I wandered onto people doing conspiracy stuff on Area 51 and astronauts trying to cover up UFOs visiting the ISS, and even one guy who claims to have done over 3000 autopsies on extraterrestrials for the gummit.

Some of their stuff is so monumentally ridiculous that it's not even entertaining.

'I stubbed my toe, but I didn't trip on anything. It must have been because of the ET/poltergeist/(insert your favorite here) that the gummit is hiding from us!!'

Ok go to the play store on your android(s) and download vape tool.
It's a blue icon with a white coil.
It's free. Pro option for a cost for more bells and whistles.

Anyway has coil calculators, juice blender, DIY calculators for juice etc...

I have found the coil calculator to be accurate and very customizeable coil configs for a free app.

The iOS version is severely lacking......
I’m iOS everything, I agree. Deleted it :(

Yeah it happens all the time. If you need to see to believe then here you go (the internet is full with that stuff, images, stories, videos, whatever you want)

It's so easy to avoid that kind of accident. Similar to our batteries it doesn't happen every time but establishing a safety standard helps. And with a car it's not just about you, it's about the other cars and pedestrians as well, your car could weer off or the tire become a projectile wreaking havoc on the sidewalk or in oncoming traffic.

As of late, the most common form of theft in Buenos Aires is car tires. If someone spooks the thieves before completion, you might find yourself with half your wheel nuts. Happened to me a couple of months ago, my car started to rattle, and much to my amazement, I only had the anti theft on... I didn't crash because someone protected me. Now I carry spare nuts in the trunk.

Yes, they all seem to have the same number of lives as cats :).

On the subject of cars, owned 4 BMW's of various ages. Totally reliable, very fast and very safe. Actually quite good value if you get them serviced by independent specialists, their reliability [if maintained well] offsets a lot of the costs. They only get really expensive if they have not been well looked after IMO.

When Mrs OG was pregnant with our daughter, she had a little Renault 5 and I had the 5 series. We lived in the middle of nowhere, and you could really get some speed up once you knew the roads.

One day I was driving into town doing a fair pelt when a fully grown deer decided to walk out in front of me with no chance of stopping. Can't remember the speed I was doing, but if I had hit it both myself and the deer would have been pushing up daises. Fortunately, there was nothing coming the other way and I stood on the brakes and steered violently to the right. The Beemer sailed round that deer as if it was on rails, no pitch, roll, or loss of control.

When I got home, I took the Renault for a test drive, took it up to half the speed I was doing in the BMW and slammed the brakes on hard, steering straight ahead. The car spun 180 before graunching to a stop.

Next day I went out and bought the wife a Volvo.

BTW, always carry a short piece of scaffolding pole in your boot, if you use that as an extension to the wrench you can get anything off, especially if you stand on it :D.
The Renault 5 was the most reliable of small cars back in the day. My first car was a Renault 4L that was even more reliable.

Well you may be iOS but we still luv ya and wont hold it against ya.;)
I’m too old and lazy to change. Started with our first Apple computer in the mid 80’s. I ran PCs in the lab at work, but have always stuck with Apple at home. Rarely pull out the laptop. I prefer the iPad. What you use should be what makes you happy. I resisted many a time catapulting a desktop through the window at work because we “disagreed”.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain

I grew up with a dad who made sure all his kids especially his daughters could take care of themselves if needed. So I’ve changed many a tire back in the day lol! It came in handy since I have had to change a tire by myself but I was a lot younger and didn’t have the health issues I do now. I’d probably just sit in my car and cry at this point. Then blow my nose and call for help! Gotta love Triple A.

I bought my bmw as a promotion present to myself but it was a CPO (pre owned thru bmw) and it was expensive enough. Just didn’t think I’d be paying an arm and a leg 20 years later on maintenance.

But to be honest it has needed minimal maintenance. I should’ve been taking better care of it but after I got sick it wasn’t a priority and now money is tight.

However, every time I get behind the wheel and listen and feel that motor I get a thrill. It really is the Ultimate Driving Machine imo  !
bmw's can be addictive for diy people, i changed out my ccv system a couple of weeks ago,, not nearly as hard as a mechanic would make you think (amazon always seems to find the best prices for parts,, as long as you 'plan ahead')

morning all. haven't had time to catch up but i thought i'd pop in for a wee hello.
that's 11 25Rs ordered from fogstar (15% off code for today is SEPTEMBER21 which i had guessed as it follows their usual form...they haven't, yet, sent out the email). 7 for me and 4 for a guy at work. UK law now has something about postage with batteries. they have to be sent with something that'll use them. usually get a free torch from fogstar. hope it's not 11 torches...
the stab wood paranormal panels for @Letitia and myself are coming along though sanding them by hand is quite laborious. will upload a pic at some point.
anyway, off to not look at shiny things.

It was easier to learn HTML ha ha ha

Time to move on to Python. All the cool kids are writing in it. :D

And an early good morning! Everything sort of quiet now after the shopping frenzy. Right now I'll likely give the dead rabbit rta a shot when it's available the end of the month. I'm still keeping an eye out for a Therion 250c and some new paranormal designs.

Still waiting on my Proton replacement. I always remembered MVS being pretty fast and responsive with stuff like this. Maybe someone's on vacation.

That's interesting. I'm in America but I ordered a couple of batteries a few weeks back and they came with a free flashlight. I was surprised to get that with such a small order.

Back then they were actually on top of their game and customer oriented. Nowadays you have to get on your knees and unzip their pants, then :censored::censored::censored: just to get the privilege to pay a ridiculous fee.
The decline (not talking financial) started when The Wozzard left and to me they died when Steve Jobs did.
