Can you replace the capacitor, or will it need a new board?

Technically I can but without a schematic I have no way of making sure I have a properly rated part of any way of knowing if any other components were heat damaged. Resting temperature from board diag was 124 f. My working mods rest at 85.

Why not send those pics to evolv and see how they respond? They're known to be pretty nice when it comes to malfunctions of their product.

I might still do that. I’m in china so lost vape would handle it. I was talking to them today. I got this used and I don’t have any paperwork. So I would be paying them for the board and service fee. But I already bought a board and I can solder it myself so I just told them to send me some spare parts.

Still might send some pictures to evolv and see if they want the board for troubleshooting.

Were you able to determine how it got so much liquid inside?

If you look at the first picture you’ll see that the therion is actually made from three pieces. The front panel. The middle support and a plastic sled. The gaps between these three pieces aren’t airtight.

The board is mounted directly to the back of the the inside plastic thread.

Now the inside of the 510 assembly was fine. I don’t think it’s leaking from the 510.

What’s happening is that when you oversquonk or keep too much juice in the well it’s leaking from underneath the atomizer and sleeping under the battery door. I always have a little bit of liquid there. Eventually that liquid can migrate down and get into the space between the plastic sled and the middle metal frame.

The board is right on the other side of that sled.

They have that at Terrible's here $27/mo. I need to sign up. I keep forgetting.
I pay $50 for all the special coatings, rain repellent, and tire gloss stuff. Normally it is $18 a wash, so it pays for its self in 3 washes.

People are DRIVING in that? I saw brake lights.

Man, I thought I was pretty adventurous with the washes during monsoon season, but I KNOW them all. I know which ones I can hydroplane through or not, and I know all the alternate routes etc.

My husband hates it but I'm usually like, "But I need to go places!" IDK how work is gonna turn out as I will be starting near the start of winter, I don't think they even MAKE snow tires for my Mazda 3. I may have to like, steal the husband's Subaru (he will hate it) but yeah, there are some FLOODY areas across my 1.5 hour commute. Hmm...

Tucson is so obnoxious if they have to rescue you from a wash, they charge you for it . This is why I am really adept at the alternate route thing, I do not want to pay the City of Tucson money to have to rescue me from a wash. Some of them are killers, IDK how anyone goes NEAR them, etc.
