Morning all.
Woke up to a dead refrigerator this morning. Whoopee
I feel your pain. Just replaced the dishwasher, and the fridge sounds like it’s got a death rattle. It’s 17 yo, so I can’t complain, but I really just hope it makes it through the holidays.

Ameren came and fixed the outside cable to the hose and all is working fine now. Hope to be out of this house within a few years and not wanting to update any appliances until then. Good luck with your fridge!

Nah, it's just some university studies showing it costs more and makes people sick for weeks that makes them debate if they will maybe stop the whole circus next year.

Oh, you're hoping they'll exercise common sense. I've heard the same here for my entire adult life. Hasn't panned out yet.

Why no good fir mtl? You'd only have to recharge it once a month.
Eskie !! Hope you and your family are well. That's it, I need a kabuki tank on there with the Yihi beauty ring, one month of vaping :)

I knew there was mods with lights, mods with mp3 players, mods with voice recognition...
Now there's mods with wheels and infernal combustion engines?

What's next, mods with wings?
Oh... wait...

Hello glittery personas,

Today has been delivery mayhem. 4 separate deliveries, 2 for me 2 for Mrs OG. Poor dogs have been going crazy between the Halloween/Guy Fawkes fireworks and unexpected knocks at the front door. Sascha has decided that hiding curled up beside me is the best option, but as she is a fairly big dog and I am tall and thin I don't think this is working out as she planned ...

First part of "Operation ejuice" has arrived. 6 glass 100ml eye-dropper bottles, 4 mini funnels, a selection of magnetic stirrers from a microscopic 2mm to a giant 20mm, spare coiling tweezers, eye loupe so I can actually see what I'm coiling and my own personal supply of rubber gloves.

Everything (bar the gloves) is going through the ultrasonic cleaner as I type. I can only fit in 2 a time, so the remainder go into a low 50C oven to dry off.

Expecting more shines over the next few days, although I missed out on a discounted ex-demo Topside by a few hours. Have a couple of new atties on order, along with a wire restock. I am tempted to try and get hold of some 12V LED's to uplight my magnetic stirrer just for grins, but that might just be too much ...

Off now to make a big batch of @Letitia V2 juice [credit where credit is due] and some Frankenstein Dulche custard of my own creation.

Just remembered that I installed Dark Reader on my computer a few days ago...enabled it and my eyes are so happy.

Windows has a Night Light setting that filters out the blue spectrum on the display. It's for people who surf at night and then have trouble going to sleep. It works. I sometimes use it if I'm up late.

Type "Night Light" in the search box and the settings screen launches.

I use the iPad version on mine. Automatically comes on at 10pm. It really does make a difference!

Thanks, just set it up.
