That's awesome! Sounds like you have a good shop to go to.

We're lucky to have a bunch of local shops, the one that's closest to where I live specializes in smok products, or so it would seem. That's what the employees are using and selling. I went in with my Lost Vape and B2K yesterday to pick up an rda that I won and they looked at my set up like it had 3 heads. I honestly don't think they'd know a Dicodes or VA mod if it slapped them in the face. Oh well, they sell decent batteries, wire and cotton which is all I need them for.

Which shop?

Which shop?
Toys R Us Plaza shop. I knew the bearded guy who loves Smok was useless, but even the other guy was lost when he asked what rda I was using (B2K) and mentioned ordering the Drone, he had no idea what I was talking about. I thought the tall skinny guy knew his stuff, I've seen him with mechs in the past, then two trips ago he had a Smok mag he was vaping on. Maybe it helps them sell their products?

No those guys are ....ing clueless. If you look at their product page it jumps out as the stereotypical Smok shop with bro dudes. One of their more senior guys is the one I used to work with before the current employer. He's the one who told me organic japanese cotton pads were low end as he hit his Smok.

I had the same experience when I went in with my Luna & B2K. He asked me what the Luna was and how much it cost. The other staffer was on the phone with a customer complaining about her Smok coil not lasting more than a week and he was trying to trouble shoot it with her when the answer should have just been that they last that long or less.

I didn't know you live near there. I don't know how long you've been there, but I grew up on Wilson. My parents had the smurf blue house (now I think it's grey or tan) near the corner of Wilson and Traynor. My mom had a thing for statues and fountains -- our front yard looked like cemetery and my dad had a fish pond under the kitchen window.

Cyber Monday, not over yet Eskie. How are you liking the Recurve ?

It's actually a nice rda. I'll say for flavor the Haku is in another class, but for an airier and flavorful vape the Recurve is very good. Glad I have a second one inbound as they couldn't/didn't cancel before shipping

I'll try to get them to accept it for return otherwise I'll have to find it a loving home.

I have a few other RDAS to play with. Got an Aura on clearance. Dual coil stepped clamped with bottom and separate side airflow. I know bottom airflow is notorious for leaking, but still want to see what the flavor is like. Hopefully I'll be lucky and squonk just right without a mess.

I also have a DR inbound. I do like the RTA so I felt obligated to check out the original rda of it.

I'm pretty broke. LOL. Good morning all.

I want a new RTA that is MTL a bit off the beaten track, and slightly expensive, but not insanely expensive to put on my Dicodes. I'm accepting suggestions at this time. I don't need links (and I will probably use something I have around until my next pay period) but I kind of think that I should have something new for that mod.

Do not ask me to defend my thinking process! LOL, it's the shinyitis thread, so it's unlikely anyone WILL, everyone will "understand."

I think I remember some things about the Cthulu Hastar MTL RTA or something. It's autocorrecting like crazy which seems discouraging but I am open for suggestions. No Kayfuns or anything with JFC, I already have a jillion doggies. Not the new one (yet, hmm) but yes, open for suggestions.

Good morning Shines, so glad we are missing the snow assault moving across the mid-west today. On a shiny note received the mini-bertha finally and have it topped with a Scottua Tank.. sheer heaven in vaping flavor and power IMO. Hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday and enjoying a nice vape and some great coffee this morning !!

What a small world, I actually remember that house. I had a friend that lived on Woodhaven and I'd go by there almost daily. There was waaaaay too much going on there not to notice

Is everyone doing their clicker exercise,to get ready for cyber Monday?

I'm all clicked out.

So I gave the Aura a shot. It's an older tank by DJL, had pretty decent reviews, and was $15 with shipping. Came with all sorts of different sized mandrels so that was a nice bonus. Built it with the included SS fused Clapton spaced coils included came in at 0.23 ohm, vaping it at 53W. On top of my Topside with a well known juice to me which I love, Charlie's Chalk Dust uncle meringue.

With bottom air open and top closed, the flavor is spot on. Really as good as any other of my RTAs or Recurve. Still not close to the Haku, but a very different experience with dual coils and a really large chamber. Squonking it and so far no bottom air leaking so it just might be a solid bargain addition to the family. The smaller chamber and single coil in the Haku really concentrates the flavor so much over other tanks (the Krma as well, but I think the Haku just edges that one out) it's a really different experience. All great for what they are and fun to play around between them.

I would add the original Squape Emotion with the mtl air reducer as well. Top fill so a little more convenient.
SQuape E[motion] by StattQualm - Creme de Vape

The Squape R was a great mtl tank but was bottom fill and had a weird jumping ohms thing going on. Tough to find an original but might be worth a search and an eye on the classifieds.

I am now officially out of the game. 6 packages in the mail. There's nothing left on my wish list except for a Fawkes billet box i'll be getting in March.

    Yay for overpriced FedEx shipping.
