I think the bonus with the vapeshell too is that in the world of bridges, it's pretty affordable. Here it sells for just over $100 CAD. The other popular bridges are in the $200 CAD+ range.

I'm excited for the odis boxer. Turns the BB into an RDTA. It leaks like crazy but he's working on a gasket fix. People have hot fixed it using plumber's tape:

I think the problem is at the top where the coil sits. There's no black oring and because it's an RDTA, the eliquid can seep out.
That'd kill the whole purpose of the BB, leakproof. I'd rather go for a regular mod and a Pyro V2.
It's no fun to find all of your stuff in your purse dosed on eliquid. I pass!

If you go with the RSQ, this site has these doors for $40 CAD. That's like $30 USD? I'm vain so that would be the tipping point for me.

Plus you will probably get TRVPed out.
I don’t think it’s vain, the stock doors are fugly at best. Zfo has some for the Inbox. Need to look at them.
I’m still waffling. Both Inbox and RSQ have some negatives based on user reviews. Rattles in doors or buttons, leaks. Trying to decipher if one outweighs the other on reliability. For a regulated, with button on the short side of the mod, that’s not too huge they seem to be the best choices. I’m open to better ideas. (Topside should be here today)

I skipped over a lot of the thread. What niches do you have filled? Sounds like you have a 2X700 regulated squonker so far.

Dual coil or single coil squonking?

People who made the Luna are coming out with a regulated/adjustable version (ultroner aether). Similar stab wood. I'd look into that when it comes out:

Go for the Inbox. Door rattling is not that bad, and if you get the V3 is quite leakproof. V1 was a sieve, V3 works like a charm. If not, I'd go for a Pulse 80.

Single coil. That looks incredible. I think I’ll just enjoy the Topside and wait for that. Size, button and bottle all look good, and it’s not .... ugly like most reasonably priced squonks seem to be.

Door rattle could be rectified with some careful placement of electrical tape. The door shouldn’t rattle to begin with but this is a easy and cost effective fix.

I've never tried the HCigar stuff but if you do for the pulse @NolaMel , there's a pretty large community making custom doors. You could make it pretty. Only problem is the Pulse is within the same niche as the Topside. Not really sure it's worth it.

Sites aren’t listing which v it is, and I don’t know enough to tell by looking.

The Ultroner site shows $170 for pre order. I’m sure you could find it cheaper once released.

I just can’t do preorder. Zero patience. Plus, as you said, price usually drops once the “new” wears off a release

Nothing is stopping you from preordering it now and buying something else now as well. And next week. Plus for Christmas you could get something, and the new years too.

We seem to have the same shopping “problem”. I won’t preorder, but I bet I buy it once it’s available. Right now my problem is something to order while I wait for fedex to get here . I ignored discussions on squonkers because I ASSumed I would never ever ever want one. Now I’m overwhelmed with information and reviews.

What helped me, debatable anyways, is going with systems where I can buy aesthetic pieces or components and not have to buy a new mod every 2 weeks. For example, with my new RDA, instead of buying a new RDA every 2 weeks i'm going to be buying new custom caps, tips, and beauty rings. With my plug, instead of buying 4 $100 mods, I bought the mod and 2 sets of stab wood doors.

I feel like squonking is the pinnacle of the vaping experience. You switch the mod, they're all functionally the same. I'd rather have more options so I can match my mod to my clothes (which I do).
