Hey. Up north we have these things called coats and hats just for times like that. You probably can't get them down your way but you could order some from Amazon. We had a high of 15 F yesterday.

Hope you make it through :(

Hat and coat you say?

I'm gonna look into getting one of each :D

Even better when I don’t expect it.

Awesome! I love those days! Looking forward to your thoughts on this. Do you have the Zeus single or dual or both? I have both but gravitate to the single for flavor.
I’d like to know how it compares. So far “reviewers” are saying flavor is a bit better than the dual Zeus. But as I said I prefer the single coil version for flavor slightly more than the dual.

I should be getting mine sometime this week so I’ll be testing it as well. I love the way it looks although the drip tips are very low and it looks like it could get sloppy up there lol!!

morning all.
chargers.
got a queen ant II, a vc2 and an xt4 at the moment. thinking about a unit that'll take 4 (at least) x 21700 and charge at 1A when 4 cells are inserted. would like something that discharges also.
someone got a new charger not too long ago on this thread but i cannot remember who. it could charge at much more than than 1A as far as i recall. @Skunk! maybe? apologies if not.
think I'll be steering away from xtar this time if possible.

burnt out a coil on the PAL II. first time that's happened in a year or so (had the odd dry hit off an RTA or RDA obviously). let the liquid run out...not used to it being hidden away. also the fact that it's a 2ml TPD number (3ml will be gotten next) doesn't help. did buy a pack of the mesh coils along with it so all is not lost.
triple mesh in the freemax on the titan at 3.5V. nice combo.

MiBoxer C4-12 - charges at 3A on all banks simultaneously. It's been life changing, not even exaggerating :D

Every time I put batts in the thing, the next time I think to look at it, they're done. Kicking myself for not upgrading sooner.
see one cheaper on amazon...
it doesn't mention the discharge function though it maintains it is the C4-12

So far, I find it well made like other Geeks. Easy to take apart and put together (new tanks are often so stiff) easy to build but not much room. I got a pair 2.5 ID in it (28x34 fused Clapton ss316 @ 6 wraps) but I didn’t think I could get 3mm. Ymmv. Still a challenge for me to get coils in anything aligned properly and not touching.

I only have duals, and haven’t gotten around to trying them single.

Lots of cloud, not that I’m going for that, expressly. Flavor is still cottony though, I’ve gone through about a quarter of a tank.

I have it on the Lustro, not very matchy color wise but a good size and shape. Still fiddling with settings. This menu is so easy to navigate. Love it.

So far so good.

Oh man, forgot about mardi gras for the last 20 years or so probably.

In primary school they used to make us eggos or pancakes and we'd go to school in our pyjamas.
Here it's big. Although the holiday was erased for 20 so years, parades are great here and in Brazil. It's the end of summer highlight. Nowadays the holiday was reinstated, so the start of the week is today!

Happy Mardi Gras, y’all!!!
It’s 39 here in the city...brrrr!!! I’m in front of the fire drinking coffee and eating king cake, watching the parades on tv. Red beans and andouille simmering on the cooktop. No incoming shiny since there’s no mail delivery today. Laissez le bon temps rouler, cher!!!
Do you go to parades? I was there twice and I wish I can take husband. It's different from the Brazilian or Venetian, to each their own!

Exactly. A couple days during that cold spell I went to bed with a hoodie over my jammies.
As I get older I'm hotter in bed. A few years back I turned off the heating in my bedroom but had a case of night cough, so I keep the heat low (60F) and lightly clothed in bed. I miss sleeping through the night without waking up...

Morning everyone!
First working day after carnaval/Mardi Gras holiday. We went to see parades in several neighbourhoods and they were very nice. So bad we didn't go to Gualeguaychu, I keep kicking myself about being so lazy about a flat tire!!!
Although the heat will go on until early may, it's already colder by now. Time to start putting away summer clothes and take out autumn clothes, specially light pullovers and closed shoes. The thing I hate the most is putting away my sandals! This year the clothes replacement list is not long, clothes have become so very expensive that we try recycling clothes from previous years to buy the least possible...
Still have the Elevate on the list, the Zeus X has already been ordered but it hasn't arrived, so we wait...
Happy short week everyone!

I roast in bed. My bedroom is not heated and I sleep with a fan every night. I have a copper cooled mattress. But even I was freakin cold when it was -15. I could see my breath in there a few nights.

Pfff! All through summer I changed the sheets and mattress cover every day, soaked through completely. It was a very hot summer!
