It’s difficult keeping up with all these Framed Stapped Juggernaut alien Monkey Tail Tsuka Fused Parallel Claptons.

When I 1st got into RBAs I bought one of the “sampler” of assorted coils- hives, tigers, aliens, staggered etc../ honestly I can’t tell one from the other.

Have you ordered from west coast vape supply before? That’s a new one to me

I ordered something from them at some point (very vague I know) but I don’t recall having any issues with them!!

Yikes the price :w00t: !!

That’s great there’s an included resistance chart on that page. In addition to the flat wire which is MUCH cheaper ($4.99)I think I’ll add a spool of the ss 40x 38 ss 2 core ($14.99) just for fun.

Well, all my mods are either wood, or wood effect, so maybe not shiny per se..,

But I guess there are shiny bits on all my tanks, so I have found a home....

So, how does this go,

"Hi, my name is Phil, and I am a Mod addict. It has been 90 minutes since I last bought a mod"

:w00t:

Phil if you’re smart hand over your credit cards to a loved one or RUN!!! It’s a deep dark shiny hole here  !

A lot of it is coil art which I do not believe offers anything more other than a great Instagram posts – if anything, their given mass usually means they perform poorly depending on the application. I have received some fancy *ss coils as a gesture of appreciation from retailers. Some can work well but you have to be very selective on how they are applied.

Yikes the price :w00t: !!

Yes, their prices do seem steep especially in comparison to other spooled Clapton type wire. But in comparison to pre-made coils it is still very reasonable. I was drawn to Lightning vapes because they are the only ones that I was able to find (with limited effort) that utilize such a high gauge wrap. And because I found them locally avoiding shipping fees. I do not have the patience to make my own so willing to pay for convenience

Let me know when you'll be in town. I'll be happy to explain the subway system here to you. It's actually not that complicated unless you're going to some outlying area where it can get confusing, but now with new phone apps you can enter the address and it'll give you options for your trip and how long it will take, along with when a train will be in a station. Really simplified life.

The MTA looks intimidating at first, but didn’t find it that confusing when I lived in NY.

Toronto’s subway system is an absolute fricken joke! The city has grown to the 3rd largest in North America but the subway has literally remained the same since the 60’s. Expansion is currently underway but it is the same plan they have been debating over since the late 50’s. And it has made an absolute mess of the parts of the city in terms of traffic. Seriously dropped the ball on that one. But will say though that our subway rats are way less scary than the monster mutants that live within MTA!

Didn't really need it, truly. But I was curious about all the hype around the Aegis, so I got one.
It bounces, can get wet, yes it does all what the ads say. What sadly is not true, is the 2200 mah battery; it feels much less; it can't be considered a main vape device, but it is fun and enjoyable.
The new Nautilus 2s has *finally* solved all the issues pertaining the Nautilus 2; the 2s is a tank worth having in multiple numbers.
Enjoy your shiny devices!

I love the size and look of it but was worried about battery life. Haven’t bought an internal battery mod since my very 1st box mod a Revenger Mini. I loved it but I chain vape and I was constantly charging it which was a pita. I can’t remember off hand what the mah was but it didn’t feel like it lasted long at all. Cute mod though in red. Still have it. Sorta like keeping old baby shoes for nostalgia Lol !!

Do replacements Zeus dual bubble tanks count as shiny or as consumables ?! Anyways that’s what was in vape mail yesterday.

Don’t even remember buying them. Another late night EBay purchase I guess!!:danger:

Anyways I did get a notice that I should be seeing more vape mail today with the Asmodus EOS II. My second one. Asmodus has become one of my favorite makers if you haven’t noticed!! Wish I had stock in the company lol!

25 feet, Fi. You won't see the end of it! Thank you! I needed this!!!

Another source for spools of fancy wire is Advanced Vape Supply. Not sure on overseas shipping, but their prices are very reasonable especially given the good quality of their wire. Everything is SS 316L if that's an issue.

Afternoon all,

Happy early birthday! I’m turning 56 next month. Kinda hate leaving 55 behind, such a nice round number.

Happy birthday all. I left 55 behind a while back, so long ago I have trouble remembering what ag

@greybeard42 im too lazy to search back a few pages but what size flat/ribbon wire did you get?

May I ask where you're finding those? TY, sounds perfect.

No worries, @Fidola13 , @muth it is 25 AWG SS316L Flat Wire (0.68mm x 0.27mm). Absolutely perfect stiffness for coiling, just straighten out with pliers, no need to heat. You probably won't even need to do the pliers thing if you don't mess the reel up like I did. 6 turns without spacing gives ~ 0.38Ω on a 3mm former. Purchased it from Crazy Wire Company Ltd. Looking to get some 25 AWG KA1 (0.68mm x 0.27mm) and some 22 AWG SS316L (0.81mm x 0.4mm) to play with.

The supplier for the Elevate (http://www.vapourdepot.com) was really helpful and confirmed that the Serpent SMM glass fits the Elevate, so more shiny on the way from FT.

Thanks for the reply. It seems the options I can find here are .8 x .1, .5x.1 and .3x .1 ribbon wire. I’m choosing the .8 x.1 since that looks to be the easiest to get to the ohms I prefer. Hopefully the spool won’t run amok. I have a few spool tamers I’ll put on it maybe that’ll work.

Have a wonderful day or evening!

Today I purchased an oldie but goodie. The Seven-22 by P4U. A 26650 regulated tube mod. $7.99 at West Coast Vape Supply

Seven-22 22w Variable Wattage 26650 Vaporizer Stainless Steel

Then I won another oldie in a giveaway, the Rose V2 RTA. I really excited to try that. It is a big, heavy beast that could topple over many of my new mods, lol. With that came a brand new Vandy Vape Mesh RDA. But don't worry, I've been throwing money away far faster than I win contests, lmao.

I also purchased a used OG Aegis from a friend who updated the firmware for me. It's not the color I'd like but I just saw a youtube vid on how to change out the leather. It's very easy.
Always wanted one of those Seven-22's back in the day when anything over 15W was the cats pajamas. ;)
I have a Masonic Logo to be embroidered on a piece of muslin for my OG Aegis to replace the cheesy camo insert.
