No shiny for me (again) but this is the sweet kitty I named Clementine on her way home today after her surgery. Lots of recovery time, 2-3 weeks expected for her and then I will have to find her a home. She is on meds and has to have her incision cleaned twice daily due to drainage. Heres hoping she is not the kind of cat that chews on her incision because I would hate to have to put a surgical collar on her after all she has been through. She had 4 tiny babies still alive but deformed in the womb. No chance for them to survive.
She is a total sweetheart.

I'm so happy to hear the surgery went well! She's probably already more comfortable than she was, even with post-op pain.

I really wouldn't mind the convenience of it all but I was just included in a massive data breach. A few days later my credit card was hacked. Fortunately, the credit card company's algorithms stopped the fraudulent transactions. They tried a $953 purchase at walmart.com x 3. And a smaller transaction....both denied. Now I'm completely paranoid about my privacy. I use only one credit card now which I keep at a low limit and sometimes use paypal. If I had my druthers I'd be using wampum.
I'm seriously considering using masked cards at this point.

Jeez, I was counting on you guys to break up my posts. Now I look like a crazy person. And perhaps I am: today I bought a stabwood SX Mini SL just because it's so darn pretty.
Well, then you better darn well post a pic of it, at least.

A sad sad case of a homeless kitten that got pregnant to young in life and was not ready for all the hormonal changes. I will not rest until every cat at this wretched trailer park is spayed and neutered.
Thank you for caring for the kitties. I have a stray and have found homes for many of the homeless in my neighborhood. My guy, Nikko, just came home today from another blood test. Don't know what's going on with his loss of appetite, lately, but he has hyperthyroidism and Resorptive Lesions on his teeth which he's scheduled to have surgery for.

What does that mean?
Places create a one-use card for you. I already use Blur/Abine for various security chores, and, if I upgrade to a paid account, I'll have access to unlimited masked cards for nothing extra. You can get masked cards with a free account but for a fee.

Here is a video of the SL I'm getting:

I wish I could take pictures of it when I get it, but I have no means to do so. Well, that's not quite true. I could ask my sister to do it, but I fear her scorn on finding out I bought such an expensive and frivolous item.

Just won a voopoo Maat tank - I'm gonna need my big girl boots on for this one :

Coil: MT-M1 0.13ohm Single Mesh Coil(60-85W);
MT-M2 0.2ohm Dual Mesh Coil (50-80W)

Holy craparoni batman - my colossal will really be road tested ;)

And I'll have to top my current 25watt record

Don't be scared. Many of those wattage suggestions are merely suggestions. Find the wattage that works for you. I have plenty of drop-in mesh coils and don't run them at the specified wattage.

Getting ready to go make cupcakes for the animal shelter workers because I want to bribe them. I have an awesome guy, I named him Johny Cash, and I want the shelter to take him from me. Another I drug home from the trap neuter return I am doing at the trailer park. He is just too nice a cat to be a home less stray. Johny is not feral, he was left behind by someone. More charisma then the original Johny Cash. He is a hugger and head .... er and so awesomeView attachment 809009 Already neutered and great litter box and feeding manners. Our shelter is 80% NO KILL but trying to get them to take a cat is an act of congress. Or maybe cupcakes ;)
Oh, he's beautiful! I'd take him in a NY minute.

You could have her take a picture of an item you already had in the closet though.... that is where you had it all this time. (wink)
She'd never fall for it. Sigh.

My need to show off may be what finally pushes me to get a tablet.

I thought you *won that in a forum contest*!

I always used ‘found it at a yard sale!’ But that’s not too convincing with vape stuff.

So broke.

Spent $200 CAD on a clear polished venna cap and these things:

And baby doll and I went shopping yesterday and today. Ended up getting 3 pairs of pants, 3 dress shirts, and 4 pairs of underwear (3 outfits plus one extra underwear because you never know). Oh and 2 pairs of shoes.

Loving the shoes:

And the pants:

Felt good because I’m down another size in shirts and had to get slim fitting clothes. New pants are now 14 inches smaller size than what they were at my unhealthiest.

Finally got around to building the elder dragon this afternoon.
After a few hours I do like it.
Someone asked about comparing it to the recurve. They are similar flavorwise and small well. I may give the edge to the recurve for squonking though. The airflow design does make the dragon easy to over squonk and leak.
But I am still playing with it.
Threw in a flat wire build to start as I fear the slightly restrictive airflow could be a tad hot with a complex build.
