Will do. I'm listening to the audio book and it's 45+ hours. Probably be a good long while before I finish this one
My friend does audio books. They put me to sleep. Due to my oh so old eyes I finally started reading on the computer. Hard to get used to, miss the actual book.

Then that eighth book seemed to take an eternity to choke down, so I counted it as two books
Yeah, I was done with King for a while after that. Too... dark.

So I picked up Neuromancer again and remembered how much of a sci-fi fan I was.

Mine, too. I found it by mistake--on the paperbook rack in the grocery store I worked at then. Did y'all know the setting has been changed twice? The hardcover edition is set in 1980. The paperback version is set in 1985. The unabridged version is set in 1990.
That continues to be the book that I go back and re-read every 5 or 6 years. At one point there was talk of turning it into a pair of movies but that fell through and now there's talk about it getting turned into a TV series. Oh, and supposedly there's a remake of Salem's Lot in the works. That was a book that terrified me. As a 12 or 13 yr old I was afraid to lock up our barn at night because of that book. That book and the man eating opossum

I should probably try reading books on a computer. If I find an audiobook that I really like I buy the hardback too. Just because

Do you build yet? If not AVS, Advanced Vape Supply, pre-built coils are great. For wicking KGD, Koh Gen Do, is the easiest to work with and good for beginners.

Pet Sematary is the one that shook me. Mainly because I was working nights at the time.
Scared me too. I got that one Salem's Lot, Christine and Firestarter when the paperbacks were on sale at Target. Must have been 83 or 84.
If you want to read a real scary ghost story try "Heart Shaped Box" by Joe Hill. Joe Hill is actually Joe King, Stephen's son. I read that a couple of years ago and it was really good. Reminded me of old Stephen King horror work.

This. Have coils loaded and ready.
Been using them and pretty content with them.

We back on vape stuff now?

@Letitia almost totally derailed us asking about a Stephen King movie.

What are the odds that one of the gear manufacturers comes out with a tank or device called the Randall? I'd probably violate my $50 rule if that happened.

That would be so cool if some manufacturer named a device after me.

Just a public service announcement:

Lurkers, this can be a fairly quick moving thread and obviously it can get derailed.

You are welcome. You can post what you want, don't want, need, or ask advice. We welcome all. Big collections or small, some or none at all. Red fish, blue fish...ahem.

However, we are odd. Some more than others. So if we miss your post, well post again. Not intentional.

I see you guys lurking. Take your time if needed, just don't ever be afraid or too shy.

(Yes I saw a few and decided to post this. Would be helpful if others would post something similar every few pages.)

Now, g'nite. My eyes hurt.
